Really I think some of them listen to Rush and get energized by his message. I have nothing against him, but my issue with this is, these women listen to Rush , because he is sort of trendy, and he taps into their anger , and he says things with a passion they wish they had. He mentions FreeRepublic.com and they show up here insisting everyone play ball by their rules. They aren't really interested in politics or the state of the union. They are interested in what they think Rush is talking about.
What they don't understand is there are people here who are more Conservative than Rush. And who really have a passion for politics, not a passion for being in club Rush. I have seen it a bunch of times myself, esp. this week.
Then we get the typical female hysteria and manipulation.
Words like Constitution and rule of law are hateful to them. And statements such as, feelings and emotions are irrelevant, are like garlic crosses to these gals. It's sickening that they show up here and berate people with their foul words, and their hateful angry threats.

I like Rush, and I do listen to him.
But, I am not a Dittohead, in that I don't march when he beats the drum.
Rush is very intelligent, very well read, and has a great sense of humor.
However, there are times that I find myself shaking my head, because sometimes he is wrong about a point or two, only because he can't possibly KNOW everything, all of the time. We all have things to learn, on occasion. And we all can have variations on opinion.
I think exposure to different ideas is valuable, and on Freerepublic, you find people who have digged deeper into the issues, and dug up the facts, and then you find yourself LEARNING from them. That's why I love Freerepublic, because it is like a community of people who want to learn from each other. (All IMHO.)
