Video Captures Canine Seeking Shelter Inside Family Car

Members of the Leroy family in Washington thought they were the target of a prankster when they kept finding a stray dog inside their parked car.

Intent on catching the culprit, they set up a video camera to record the vehicle.

However, they were surprised at what they caught on film.

The video captured the dog as she opened the car door on her own and climbed inside.

The family is now circulating posters of the dog and has contacted the local Humane Society.

So far, no one has claimed the canine.

Good thing it wasn't a pack of crazed Pomeranians, could have been some serious heel bites.

And who needs to slog around in sneakers filled with blood....?

The male dog shows up at his date's house with flowers in paw. The female says, "I don't what you rolled in, but it sure smells good."

Nooo... the male says to the female: "Oh, Ginger... you look absolutely stunning - and whatever you rolled in sure does stink!"

Larson's work is getting tough to find online, but here's a Christmas card version of that same cartoon:

Obviously, I did it from memory, and a bad memory at that.

Thanks.

He is a bit short for that, but he does have a couple ways of getting me to drive for him.

If nice doesn't work there's always nasty.

And this one: The male dog shows up at his date's house with flowers in paw. The female says, "I don't what you rolled in, but it sure smells good."

Actually, it's even funnier than that.  The dog is at his date's door, holding in his paw some flowers.  He says, "Gosh, you look pretty, Daisy.  And whatever you rolled around in sure does stink!"

I'm going to let you two sort out which is the correct version.

I don't know how many years it's been gone, but I do miss the Far Side.
