With all the coverage about the missing ND student Dru Sjodin, I am reminded of a little girl that has been missing since June 14th 2003, also from Minnesota...... I have copied the information off the website (www.findbeaner.org): It reads:
Leanna 'Beaner' Warner was last seen Saturday, June 14th around 5:00 pm in Chisholm, MN and was wearing a dark blue sleeveless denim dress and was barefoot. She is 3 feet tall and has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. She left her home, 19 S.W. Second St. in Chisholm, about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Anyone who may have seen Leanna since 5 p.m. June 14 or who has information on the case please call Chisholm police at (218) 254-7915.
............ perhaps enough time has gone by that the person(s) that abducted this little girl might feel comfortable enough that she's been out in the public somewhere. Please pull up the website mentioned above, look at her picture, let's try to find this little angel and get her back home to her parents.

I remember this story about this little girl. So sad they never found her. I can't sleep very well when I have a cat missing. I think I would literally die if one of my children disappeared.
I would like to start by saying thank you for your views on LeeAnna. I am her cousin from Chisholm Minnesota and stumbled upon this site thru searching and am so very pleased at the way ppl are still remembering our little bean. She is missed something fierce not only by me but ofcoarse the whole family. One never thinks this will happen to their family (I was one that thought that) but it has and she is still out there somewhere so yes plzzzzzz keep your eyes open and dont be afraid to make that phone call to save a child and return them to their family that loves and misses them. Leeanna is my little beanie butt I have watched her since she was 3 days old and to have her out there somewhere missing her family so terribly kills a certain part of your heart that can only be restored thru her safe return. I BEG YOU ALL go to www.findbeaner.org study her face and wherever you go watch for her. She is out there somewhere and one of you will recognize her and help get her back to us. She is being cradled by God's loving arms and will stay safe until one of yous helps bring her back to the ones who love her with ALL their hearts and that is not only us (her family) but all the ppls hearts she touched since her going missing June 14, 2003. Please pray for her and never stop for even after we get her home she will remain to need all the prayer in the world that she can surcum such a terrible ordeal.
