Sounds like the end is nearing for him. I know when it comes, all conservatives will not just mourn his passing, but celebrate his contributions and style. The only regret that I have is that all past living presidents must be invited to his funeral. With the exception of the elder Bush, none are worthy.

What about our current president? The Gipper would be proud of his economic/foreign policies.

And when the time comes, we will see the full spectrum of ugliness of the American (and probably international) Left. Count on it.

And I wonder which POS from the left gets a knuckle sandwich for the first indiscreet word upon his passing. You know it'll happen.

D*mn, this is a sad way for him to bow out.

I've thought about that, too. Clinton at President Reagan's funeral would just be a travesty!

I hate to put a political spin on your comments, but the kind of tribute that will come upon President Reagan's death will do more to accurately convey his true legacy, as a President and as a man, than any docu-drama CBS could cook up.

When Reagan dies, they should transport his body on a train from California to Washington where he would lie in state in the Capital Building. I would drive hundreds of miles to see the train as it passes and pay my respects.

When will the Hollywood elite throw a HATE REAGAN bash? Perhaps the day of his funeral?

How about President Ford? Clinton would just use the event as a photo op for himself, I'm afraid. Ugh!

I only hope that we have a Republican as President when it happens. I couldn't handle Clinton being President at Nixon's passing.

I've read in the past that Mrs. Reagan does not want Clinton to attend.

I would say that none of them are worthy not to attend. As detestable as Clinton is, because he wore the mantle of the office, it will be his responsibility to attend. I have no illusions that the shame of showing his face there will weigh upon him, but nevertheless, it is not his prerogative to dodge it. (Not that it would be the first civic responsibility he dodged.)

"Sounds like the end is nearing for him."

No doubt about it. I suspect he will pass away next year. When a person sleeps like this, it is a sign of the body shutting down.
