People who take opiates regularly are not "high" on them.

Are you speaking for yourself or all opiate addicts? So when a junkie says he wants to "get high", he's lying right?

You might be thinking I'm a prude high up on a horse with no experience in hard drugs and drug addicts. You might be wrong.

I am speaking from the standpoint of education about pain killers. There is a difference between a "junkie" and a person who has been taking pain meds for an extended amount of time. People with chronic pain do not take the meds to get high sir, they don't even make you high. Do some research and you will understand the difference. I never said or thought you were a prude, and I sure didn't mean to imply that.

Try leaving your self righteous, overblown ego out of the argument for ONE DAMN THREAD. It's always about you, isn't it?

I have more patience for "prudes up on a high horse" than with "experienced" know it alls like you, who have contempt for anyone not of your mindset.
