Texas Art And Music. They Can't Measure Up To The Sooners Or The Longhorns.

I posted on this yesterday and I'm sorry if it offended the famously delicate sensitivities of those matriculating at the renowned Texas Art and Music University. However, it seems AD Byrne still doesn't get it, so I'll type v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y so that even a Coordinator of Diversity can read and understand.
AD Byrne has made himself an embarassment to the entire state of Texas. Losing to OU is bad. Losing to OU by 77 points requires contriteness and confession, followed by absolution. Losing to OU, by 77 points (have I mention the final was 77-0 yet?), and then blaming the conservative protests of affrimative action requires not only immediate relief from duty, but total confiscation of all Texas privaleges and a one-way ride to Hope, Arkansas in the back of a beat-up Chevy pick up.
I proscribe such dire and condign punishment for the following reasons:
1) If you find yourselves losing football games 77-0, there's a bit more going on with your program than just a diversity problem. It requires more than 1 or 2 highly teed-off NAACP pass rushers to destroy your squad 77-0.
2) Losing 77-0 does seem to have a disparate impact on Dennis Franchione's recruiting efforts. Perhaps even his prospects of future, lucrative employment in the coaching profession. If AD Byrne, who gave away the farm, located somewhere in the vacinity of Bryan, Texas, for Franchione's 'services' as Head 'Coach', would like to stop receiving informative feedback from the alumni football booster club, he needs a scapegoat....Rapidly.
3) In fairness to the OU football team, they were also denied equal opportunity in The Big 10. Other conferences offered their champions the opportunity to overcome difficult competition and feel a sense of tremendous accomplishment and pride. With a 77-0 outcome, the poor, downtrodden Sooners were denied that opportunity. The level of competition they received from AD Byrne's athletic program was truly separate and very unequal.
Out of the goodness of their heart's, the OU fans suggested something to the UT Longhorns during a similar 65-13 unfair denial of equal gridiron competition. They held up a sign saying 'Texas should consider touch football.' A&M defenders would need to catch the OU receivers and running backs first, but at least then, they could keep their eyes on the prize. An elusive name, on the back of a jersey, trucking toward the end zone, to make the score 83-0.

Would a Texas A&M alum or student PLEASE start a movement to expunge this embarassing man from The Great State of Texas?

I don't even know very much about football, and this makes crystal-clear perfect sense. Somebody needs to double-flush this POS out of my alma mater.

I work for the US Army Operational Test Command as a Test Analyst. I'm proud of the fact that weapons that I help test are now, even as we speak, being used to hunt down the enemies of our great nation.
It's a little frightening to me to know that someone who is 'testing weapons' [being used to hunt down the enemies of our great nation] is as lackadaisical and careless in his spelling and punctuation as the writer of this article. For example:
"affrimative, privaleges, vacinity, their heart's"
Or maybe there are two "cnI redruM's" and one of them is just not very sharp.

I was at the 77-0 game. I sat through every minute of it. They lost 77-0 because the players quit trying in the 2nd quarter. And because they were very much out coached.
In the 4th quarter OU did it's best not to score. Fullback dives. Quarterback kneel down. And they ran the clock during A&M's incomplete passes and out of bounds plays.

A true double/triple oxymoron!! I can't stop laughing, and to think the folks in OK think they can claim anything better.

"My trailer parks are bigger than your trailer parks."
Do you know how a divorce and a tornado are alike in Oklahoma?
Either way, you're going to lose a trailer house.

This post again today on the same thing posted yesterday just indicates that your intention is to be as offensive as possible. Why are you trying to offend other Freepers?

I want them to take action and get AD Byrne removed. The man is odious and despicable.

Would you happen to have an OU team roster that shows exactly how many of the OU players are from Oklahoma? As opposed to being from Texas and/or other states?
To: Ben Ficklin
Probably, very few players at OU are from Oklahoma. The entire point of my post is that AD Byrne is a disgrace for blaming conservative student activists for his school's 77-0 pasting. If, in fact, half of OU's team hails from South of The Red River, that would support my point even more convincingly.
Here's another question: Did any school which lost a football game to one of the three major service academies blame their loss on antiwar demonstrators?

AD Byrne removed? I have no problem with that at all. He needs to shut up and do his job-- as I posted yesterday. I just see the need for your offensive remarks about A&M.
To: redruM
Correction: I DON'T see the need for insults.
To: Clara Lou
That's just the point. Until people who care about these universities demand action, Byrne will get away with it. I don't refer to Cynthia McKinney as CORNELL UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR Cynthia McKinney because I have a beef against Cornell. I just want her humiliated and fired.
I think of it as blackmail. If you guys trash AD Byrne, I'll stop trashing Texas A&M.

Even not knowing the total, that 38 is higher than what I expected.

Would a Texas A&M alum or student PLEASE start a movement to expunge this embarassing man from The Great State of Texas? You can start with him then move on to Robert "Diversitopia" Gates. They're both left wing scum who have brought shame to a once great institution.
