This is just too good to miss.

Boy, you got that right, MEG.
Thanks for the post, RC.

I think I've gotta go buy a new monitor - This one's been getting awfully fuzzy with these stories out of Iraq.

Salute to our Armed Forces and Commander-In-Chief!

Wow! What a tear-jerker this is. I cried when it happened, too. The joy of the soldiers and the emotions of their Commander-in-Chief tell the story. The RATS can claim this was a political stunt all they want. They are dead wrong. This was a gesture of love on both sides.

The building actually shook. ... Soldiers were hollering, cheering, and a lot of them were crying. There was not a dry eye at my table. ... he stepped down and was just mobbed by the soldiers. ...

What a great eyewitness report.

Maybe Tom Brokaw will include this type of report in one of his airtime tributes to the soldiers, no?

In my dreams.

Wphile, thanks a mil for the ping. Ragtime Cowgirl, thanks for posting this.

I was putting up my Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving Evening, when I went to my bedroom and turned on FoxNews for any updated news... to my shock and ewe My President Had suprised my Military. I was in amazement but then I knew he would do something like that, because that is the type of person he is. I called everyone I knew and told them to turn on Fox. We all just sat in amazement and we all said, the Dems will say he did this to outstage hillary. It is never hard to estimate what the side of the devil will do.

If you ever left a message on an answering machine you can do this!
It's really that simple. AND It's a Toll Free Number !

Send deployed troops message on SoldiersRadio.com

SoldiersRadio is again this year providing a way to let you tell Service members worldwide that you care and are thinking about them during the Holidays.

You can do an Audio Post Card simply by calling 1-800-330-5090.
Your recorded personalized message will be played back on www.SoldiersRadio.com.

You can record a short message (30 seconds) to friends, family members or just a random message of good will. SoldiersRadio will then take your message and put it on the radio Web cast throughout the Holiday Season. Its very simple to do and works both ways ... from the field or to the Service member.

AnyServiceMember.org is also promoting the call-in holiday service in hopes of reaching a large group of people who would like to send a message to Soldiers serving away from home.

The cut-off date for the call in is Dec.15.

Soldiers were hollering, cheering, and a lot of them were crying. There was not a dry eye at my table. When he stepped up to the cheering, I could clearly see tears running down his cheeks.

Can you even imagine being one of the guys who didn't want to go and stayed away? I really do wish there had been more pictures of the troops as he came out. The one I have seen just grabs your heart.
