So what do the Iraqis do for comic relief now that Baghdad Bob is off the air?

found it it was back on Oct 29 that this was posted. I know I emailed it to every naysayer I know! They forgot one comment though

Since President Bush declared an end to major combat on May 1... the FREE American press still hasn't thanked our troops, our military leaders, or Pres. Bush for risking all fighting for their freedom.

I read two articles today and have heard it mentioned on TV..the carrier landing that backfired.

I was so upset about that carrier landing that I found the old thread, pictures,a video and thoroughly enjoyed myself remembering the great sailors and their appreciation of their CIC and his salute to a ship that had been deployed for 10 months.!I reread the speech,"still have a dangerous job."

Good job, troops.Thank you for a job well done.

Someone in the non-FR Universe picked up our signal. (^:

I did write the list (in response to the daily enemy press's "Since May 1st..." campaign to undermine morale of our troops, and the homefront ~ the daily casualty hyping with mocking, symbolic reference to the President's USS Lincoln landing) ~ and sent it out to my list. Someone else may have done the same.

Thanks to everyone who passes on the successes of the troops to the outside world.

If you want on or off my Pro-Coalition ping list, please Freepmail me. Warning: it is a high volume ping list on good days. (Most days are good days).

We thank God everyday that his injuries were not as bad as they could of been, there have been several soldiers killed in the same type of accidents. Trust me this Mom will be scouring over every inch of him to make sure his injurys healed up to enough to suit me. The first chance he had to use the video cam I made him put the back of his head to the camera, pull up his shirt and turn around and drop his drawers so I could see (sort of) what had happened, I think I really embarrassed him over that one but didnt really care. Yes his buddies were all in the background laughing but understood that if I didnt see they got no more goodie boxes from me :)
