Since President Bush declared an end to major combat on May 1... the FREE American press still hasn't thanked our troops, our military leaders, or Pres. Bush for risking all fighting for their freedom.

I read two articles today and have heard it mentioned on TV..the carrier landing that backfired.

I was so upset about that carrier landing that I found the old thread,pictures,a video and thoroughly enjoyed myself remembering the great sailors and their appreciation of their CIC and his salute to a ship that had been deployed for 10 months.!I reread the speech,"still have a dangerous job."

Good job,troops.Thank you for a job well done.
