Another sterling endorser:

It is the best of times and the worst of times" best, because we have a man like Dennis Kucinich representing us in the quest for the White House, and worst, because we have a criminal like George Bush IN the White House, who must, if we are to survive, be REMOVED. The last time I voted in a presidential election was when Earl Browder ran against Norman Thomas. But now, I feel that we have a human being who stands for public health care, jobs that pay a living wage, one who will help to educate our children free like in all European countries. A man who will end NAFTA and the WTO, repeal the USA Patriot Act, and restore the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights. Let's all vote for Dennis, and spread the word that there is an alternative. I am a comedian, but this is NOT funny!! Vote for Dennis!!!

It reminds me of that night when millions of us lit our candles at 7 pm, and stood in silence, all over the world. All those little flames together, one light saying one thing: "Ho! Ho! Ho Chi Minh! The N.L.F. is gonna win!"

Now if only Kucinich can get that endorsement from Popeye, it'll swing the union vote his way and Dean will be in big trouble.

From the site you linked to:

As an artist, as a mother, and as a member of this human family, I will use every resource I've been given to support and further the presidential campaign of Dennis Kucinich. It begins with bringing his name into nearly every conversation these days, and I trust it shall culminate with ovations as we marvel that together, we did it.

Well, as a photographer, a father, and a member of this human family, I am gratified that she has achieved her goal. Every post on this thread is saying "what a nutball!"

You people get so worked up without knowing the full story. I have it on very good authority that the Moon and the Little Bears Sitting on Chairs...

...Max and the Wild Things...

...and the Very Quiet Cricket...

...are all planning on publicly announcing their support for GWB next week. So relax - the "children's storybook endorsement gap" is purely temporary.

Gun, this is possibly the most bizarre thing I have seen on the Internet in the past 2 months.

And if it's bizarre on the internet...it's By God bizarre!

Hey, guys, be careful. I think we're overloading his server. It's really slow now. BTW, as to sending the ecards, I don't send email cards anymore, except from my .Mac account. Too many of them install spyware and are used to harvest email addresses.

"They go to sleep under the pearl of the moon, who spreads her light over everyone."

The lefties are "ill-met by moonlight"

Is the author referring to the moon Hectate: or moon Astarte I wonder.

I never heard of this 'famous' Grandfather Twilight.

As for me, I am holding out to see who Marvel Comics's Wolverine will endorse.

Bub. ;-)

I never heard of Grandfather Twilight; I figured he was some old squirrel hunter running around in a 1957 Chevy pickup with a spotlight and a rusty 22 calibre rifle.

Hey, Kucinich is a totally doped lefty, but is it just possible that this is a gigantic hoax that some steely-eyed Democrat cooked up? That this Father Moonbeam is a trick to make us think that they're all a bunch of harmless nutcakes, and that we'll become complacent?

Nope....I Amazoned it for "Grandfather Twilight" and then Googled the author's name.

Here's her website. (Click on the "Deep Forest Times" section for all the Dennis wonderment)

The really bizarre part is that a supposedly serious candidate for the Presidency features this whackbat's mumblings on his web site...
