Tombs of WWI British soldiers vandalised in France (Again)

The graves of 10 British soldiers killed during World War I were vandalised last weekend in a military cemetery near this northern French town, police said.

Their tombstones were broken or pulled out of the ground and some were stolen, police said.

The site, the Hibers Trench cemetery, is managed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and holds the remains of 133 British and three Canadians soldiers, most of them killed during a German offensive in the area in April 1917.

Police said they had taken shoe prints from near the desecrated graves and were looking for the perpertrators.

Probably some Algerian or Moroccan punks. Having been to France in August (visting family) I saw personally how France's immigration policies will be her death. Franec's Muslim immigrants hate France almost as much as they hate the USA and Israel. No assimilation whatsoever, ghettos where the French police won't venture, radical clerics at every mosque: it's a timebomb just waiting to go off.

Thus emerges our dilemma. We can not permit a radical muslim state with nukes next door to our closest ally. Therefore, at some point the US and the Brits are going to have to intervene again to save the French from themselves. Sucks, don't it?

Hate to say it, SAMWolf, but I no longer consider France (especially the urban areas) to be a Western nation.

Sure they have a lot of Euro history (thanks Charles "Hammer" Martel) and lovely architiecture, but that's just for show at this point. Their minds are warped with socialism and Chomskyite beliefs and their Muslims are gaining in power while the Frogs are too cowardly and stupid to see what's happening, preferring instead to compensate for their utter irrelivance with lame anti-Americanism. I really hope a radical left party comes to power to accelerate their demise. No point in waiting now. They made their bed and they'll be sleeping in it soon enough.

Sometimes I wonder if france was ever a western nation. What I find funny is that the Germans and french seem to be getting along. Germany always looked at france as a dirty and backward country.
