Are you suggesting that Newsmax led you on? Actually, Dean DID say it both ways. At least this time, Newsmax was accurate.

I see interview. He is laughing when saying "on ideological grounds, yes;" it is obvious joke. This man may not be joke, but this statement is.

You're right. This whole thread is a tempest in a teapot. Check out the transcript of the interview--it is pretty obvious from this that Dean was kidding when he said he would break up Fox: Dec. 1 transcript.

Key excerpt:

DEAN: On ideological grounds, absolutely yes, but...

(LAUGHTER)

MATTHEWS: No, seriously.

If it's such a big joke, how come no one's laughing? I certanly am not. I see no humor in Dean's fascist rantings at all.

What I do see is a dangerous man who, like most other leftist, if given power over us "ordinary people" will do his best to destroy our freedoms and leave us vulnerable to the terrors of the world.
