Sen. Hillary Clinton forced U.S. troops stationed at Bagram air base in Afghanistan to wait for their Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday, while she and her entourage arrived late, then cut in line and were served first........

And in contrast to this, the President got behind the chow line and served dinner to the troopies, and they loved him for his simple yet eloquent gesture... this whole thing just has me smiling every time I think about it!

I just can't wait for that video montage before President Bush addresses the Republican National Convention this summer. Slected highlights:

Bush with megaphone at WTC.
Bush in flight suit on USS Abraham Lincoln.
Bush throwing out first pitch at 2001 World Series.
Bush serving Thanksgiving dinner in Iraq.

I know I'm missing a few, and there's sure to be a few more between now & then.
