Claim: The County of Los Angeles has requested that equipment vendors avoid using the industry term "Master/Slave" in product descriptions and labelling.

Motherboard and main board are both still used, and there are "daughter" boards/cards as well.
I think the people who can't handle the names of things just shouldn't use them. Leave life to the rest of us who aren't afraid of living.

The gov't schools are busy re-educating our churln that it's C.E. (common era) and B.C.E. (before common era) and not A.D. (anno Domini--"year of our Lord") and B.C. (before Christ).
The wicked deal in confusion, not fact.

What living American was ever a slave?

It's entirely possible that some immigrants from east Africa, now naturalised citizens, have either owned or been slaves.
