A new miracle baby has been born in Bethlehem. That's, at least, what many Palestinians in the birthplace of Jesus believe.
Ala Ayyad was born two weeks ago, on the 27th day of Ramadan, known as Lailat al-Kader, the night the Koran was revealed to Muhammad by God.
Thousands of Palestinians have been thronging the Aida refugee camp at the northern entrance to Bethlehem to pay their respects to the infant boy, who is being hailed as "the miracle baby of Bethlehem."
The timing of his birth was auspicious enough, but his parents were amazed to discover a large birthmark across his cheek, which spells out in clear Arabic letters the name of his uncle, Ala, a Hamas member who was killed by the IDF eight months ago.
The "inscription" begins near the right side of the baby's mouth, continues all the way round his cheek and finishes behind his right ear. The family said they would raise the baby to follow in his uncle's footsteps and lead a new generation of terrorists to fight against Israel. In the meantime, they have to cope with the thousands of pilgrims converging on their home every day to see the boy with their own eyes.
When the uncle was killed together with two of his comrades, a local poet wrote a poem eulogizing him. The poem is written on a red placard hanging at the entrance to the family's home. It reads: "In the future, people will speak with pride about his life, and God shall bring another Ala in his place."
For the dead man's brother, Iyad, and his wife, Nisreen, the little baby with the miraculous sign is a fulfillment of the poet's words. Inside the house, cradling the infant in her arms, the baby's grandmother, Aisheh, said the birthmark is a clear sign from God that her son's death was not in vain.
"For the past eight months, I prayed and cried every day for my son," she added, tears welling in her eyes as she stroked the baby's hair. "Now I am very happy, because my martyred son, Ala, has returned. This baby sends a message to Israel that those who kill us will be killed.
"We will raise him to be good and pious like his uncle. Just as Mary received a sign from God that Jesus would be born to her in this holy place, so we have received a sign from God. This miracle shows that the martyrs who fall fighting for God do not die. It shows they live on in Paradise and that God is generous."
The baby should have been born three weeks earlier, and doctors said they would have to deliver him by cesarean section, but he was born naturally on one of the holiest nights of the Muslim calendar.
At first, the family kept the birthmark a secret, fearing the consequences. Then they told the imam of the local mosque, who was stunned by what he saw.
"He rushed back to the mosque and announced over the loudspeaker that a divine miracle had occurred and that God had given us a gift on the night of Lailat al-Kader of a baby born with writing on his face," said the baby's uncle, Imad.
"When someone is killed, God replaces him, so why carry on killing? We are against all killings, of Jews and Palestinians, but circumstances have forced us into this situation."
One of the more interesting things about Islam is that so much of it is based on so little. The Koran is a remarkably small text. All the rest of that religion is based on stuff they just made up by asking "What would Mohammad do?"
The baby should have been born three weeks earlier, and doctors said they would have to deliver him by cesarean section, but he was born naturally on one of the holiest nights of the Muslim calendar. Sadly, the Palestinians worshipping suicide murder cannot fathom the demonic influences in their midst. Paralleling the birth of a child they believe destined to follow in the footsteps of suicide murdering, with the birth of the Prince Of Peace, who harmed not a soul ... well, then to tie this to one of their own 'holiest nights', wow, how revealing of their delusional state! ... Sons of light and sons of darkness

The LORD God of Israel states: "I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you."
I pray this baby is not marked for life to be cursed! I cannot understand a grandmother who wants her grandbaby to murder!
Born To Kill.
Blah blah blah. Why don't they get their own religion? They jacked the the holy sites of Judaism and claimed them, now they want to compare this baby to Jesus.
I'm tellin' ya, they are just looking for a way to come to the US and claim our churches and Synagogues too.
