Rita's special sources say:
"desperate people will do desperate things". Rita's sources not surprised by the magnitude of the attack. Her "sources" say the real issue is who is behind coordinating the attack.
Basically, she is saying nothing more then we have on this thread!
Here comes that bad ass colonel now...

46 Iraquis enter paradise only to find there are no virgins waiting. Note: many more to follow soon.

Rita Cosby/Crosby (^;: According to senior US Officials, "8 of the people were captured, once they are captured and kept in individual cells they do provide some pretty good information."

Sam,
I agree. It's great news. But it's kinda like dumping a thousand lawyers in the sea. Good start, but lots more work to be done.

It's a pleasant change to have reports of enemy dead instead of just our own casualties all the time.

Ok, that's all I wanted to know, then no POW status...Iraqis in black pj's=terrorists.

Our convoy had a large amount of money on it.
Bob Sellers is speculating they were tipped off.

Yep. B ut it's about time we started getting serious about shooting back and not trying to "arrest" or "detain" suspects. You fire at American troops, you get shot. No ands, ifs or buts.

New information from Fox. The convoy was carrying a large amount of the new currency, escorted by Bradleys, tanks, and Apache attack helicopters. 100 people in the convoy.
Sounds like the anti-coalition people are running short on cash.
To: CROSSHIGHWAYMAN
Sounds like that great general. Saddam Hussein, wanted to have a big payday to counter Bush's visit.
Thats it right there.
