[history]
This year's so-called Dirty Dozen list of violent gifts for kids is a stealth attempt to emasculate America -- one toy at a time.
The Lion & Lamb Project, a public interest advocacy group, annually announces the toys it deems to be the most yucky, violence-wise. You might have seen the news reports about the list, but you probably do not know that the Lion & Lamb Project is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

My 7 and 3 olds were shooting at each other with left over turkey at lunch today. Trying to disarm a boy is a lost cause.

I'm sorry, but any collection of self-respecting war-fare trained toy robots would mock that Transformer for that rather curious piece between his legs. No way he doesn't get an atomic wedgie on the first day of battle school.
Actually the cartoon/comic version of the character looked much different than the toy version, but it was close enough.

By the way, that and the first book are pretty good sci-fi fiction: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0743458982.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Trying to disarm a boy is a lost cause. Yes, I'm afraid so!
But I'm still mad at my sister for the "machine gun" with all sorts of electronic sound effects she bought my youngest about 10 years ago....
Man that thing was annoying!

Please, find out what your nephew's hobbies and favorite shows are then come back and ask us, because that is a very important question.

I hate those. If a kid can't make his own gun sounds he shouldn't get a toy gun. (except for cap guns because nothing beats that smell.)

Well, they have me convinced. No more violence. No war toys for my nephews, nosiree. No violent games, no Schwarzenegger or Willis films, no books about backyard ballistics (hey, did you know you could make a trebuchet out of scrap wood that will throw the cat fifty yar...NO! STOP IT!) None of that.
I'm getting them some films about three guys who learn to live together in peace and harmony. Yeah, it's gonna be a Three Stooges Christmas...

"Well, those pacifist types would probably say I was warped..."
We need to cure pacifism. It is parasitic to society.

Model 52 Winchester, .22 LR. If he/she wants to be treated like an adult, it's time he learned responsibility. For my 12th birthday I got a Ruger 10/22. It was a fantastic present.
This, on the other hand, is a movie of a birthday present I'd love to have right now: Ruger 10/22 Gatling Gun

I've read them.
But obviously you've never read any occult writings of Helena Blavatsky, founder of the Theosophical Society.

I'm currently searching for Christmas ideas for my 12 year old nephew. Here's one that has been putting out eyes (and eardrums) for close to a century, still made in America by the original company!

I bought my two year old a pop gun for his Bday. He loved it. It was too big for him but he still has it. He would sit and shoot deer on the deer hunting shows with it, and come down to the archery range and the shooting range with me and 'shoot.'
His older sisters (try to) shoot bow and have spent a day at the childrens conservation seminar at the local gun club. The whole problem with guns is that people are so bloody scared of them, they think keeping them 'out of sight out of mind' is going to work. Nope, it just creates a big huge mystery and increases the attraction.
Now, try and tell them that they should take the same approach with guns as they want to with sex, and they'll have a hissy fit. But irresponsible/immature-minded people having sex is equally as destructive as those irresponsible/immature-minded people using guns.
