I think the attack on the Spanish today was also coordinated on the basis of inside information.

SEE #24, dont believe the liberal myth claptrap, we didn't fund the taliban nor Bin Laden or Al qaeda.

I wish i had time to dig up the research, maybe sometime i'll post it on my web log for future reference

Please note, however, that we DID give support to the Taliban during the Clinton administration (long after the Soviets had retreated); this was primarily bribes under the "war on drugs" to convince them to combat the farming of poppies and the opium trade.

A little off topic but I had to point out the humor in the fact that many in the anti-WOD drug camp seem to think Klinton and the Rats are on their side. Klinton spent more on the WOD than any other administration and stiffened penalties.

Hmmmmmm...I've read from more than a few different sources that the Taliban was created through the Pakistani ISI and was funded in it's inception throught the ISI by the CIA.

Seems like a pretty clear link to me.

What would you have them do? They have to use Iraqis or they will never be able to take over their own government.

You better spend a lot more time digging through your research. Taliban was created through Pakistani ISI with CIA funding. A very well known and published fact. :)

While the CIA is known to be used as a tool for political subterfuge, notably in eastern Europe and famously in southeast Asia, Central and South America, I would need to see some pretty convincing evidence to accept the thesis that it was the driving force behind the Taliban.

Truth is indeed usually stranger than fiction, but U.S. motives for fomenting an Islamic uprising in this case would be very esoteric and probably self-defeating. The very fact that the CIA has shot itself in the foot several times leads me to believe that it would be very circumspect about supporting a cultural jihad after the Soviet withdrawal from Pakistan.

"More than a few different sources" lead me to suspect your post is made with tongue fixed firmly in cheek. ;^)

"Soviet withdrawal from Pakistan"

Correction: That should not have been posted, because news of the Soviet presence in Pakistan was suppressed under the orders of the Beta Reticuloids and the Bilderberg Group. :^D
