SPIN SPIN SPIN.
Try as hard as they might, aint nobody buying the manufactured downside the passe "mainstream" media tries to hype.
From diehard socialists in the USA to diehard Baathists in Iraq, it is pitifull, but vastly amusing to watch them attempt to turn an abject defeat into a twisted victory!

"I don't have anything political or partisan to say about it," said Democrat Joe Lieberman as he campaigned for his party's presidential nomination in New Hampshire. "There are days when you have to say, we're not Republicans, we're not Democrats. We are Americans."
A rational voice from the Democrats... no wonder the left despises Lieberman :-)

Great! Finally someone did it!
I've been waiting for this picture with Hillary as the turkey on the platter! :)

"Bush tied himself even more closely to the outcome of a war that has dragged on..."Yes, because he knows that the fate of America and of the world is tied to the outcome of this war--the war on terrorism.
In case anyone has forgotten, this war was declared and the United States attacked by Islamic terrorists.
The American people never wanted this war; however they have no choice but to wage it and defeat this enemy.
"...he reinforced his role as commander in chief before cheering troops..."
...who understand the President's courage, commitment, patriotism, loyalty, and honor.
"...an image his Democratic opponents can't match."
...because it reflects his character. He is a man of principle, and his Democrat opponents cannot successfully pretend to be that.

I don't care how long this was in the works, it pulled the rug out from under Hillary and the rest of the appeasing cowards and was brilliant.
All of the complainers are coming off as whiney brats and will be seen by the public as such.

The American people never wanted this war; however they have no choice but to wage it and defeat this enemy.I did. I, correctly, saw taking out Saddam as a CRUCIAL move in fighting terrorism on many fronts. One being that a-holes can't play games with us any longer after 12 years of lies, deceit and lack of a spine by the "mulitlateralists".
I wanted to kick the crap out of the Iraqi Baathists and I want to kick some more out of the Syrians, Iranians, so-called Palestinians and the Saudi hypocrites.

I'm just waiting for the press expose' of how electric voltage applied to the chairs
caused all those soldiers to jump up en masse and involuntarily start clapping.
And that the CIA put some sort of psycho-active drugs into the turkey and stuffing
so the soldiers would continue to robotically smile and shake Dubya's hands.
I just know some left-wing mag will eventually float something like this.
To face the truth is a lot less fun than dreaming up these sort of paranoic scenarios.
Oh, and I'm waiting for someone ACLU type to run that clip in which Dubya shakes hands with
one soldier and they exchange hearty "G-d Bless You"s.
Sounds like establishment of a state religion to me (end sarcasm)

Not one of Bush's critics has suggested that Algore would have been a better President.
To: Tamsey
Chris Matthews, when asked by Matt Lauer, said the President's trip was a "10" and that he considered it "apolitical."
Of course, Lauer argued with him.

The visit to a mess hall at Baghdad International Airport came at the end of an increasingly violent month for U.S. troops in Iraq. Happy Ramadan, everybody.

This is the second thread on which I have seen you make a sarcastic, anti-Bush comment. Since you are newly registered member, I am highly suspicious, and invite the Mod to take a look at your posting history.

""I don't have anything political or partisan to say about it," said Democrat Joe Lieberman "The more I see Joe Lieberman the more he reminds me of "Mr. Burns" on the "Simpsons".
