The real way to avoid crowds is to point, click & ship -- shop on-line.

The DVD player was $29.87(remote included).
It was a front page item on the Friday, 6-11 AM circular.

$29.87? That's almost the price they charged for a DVD disk just a couple of years ago! I wonder if the DVD industry is following the razor blade business model - give away the razors and make the profit on the blades.

Depends on your sense of humor, I guess.
By your standard 2/3 of the current crop out of Hollywood would be flops.

I think this story might be an Urban Legend. I read the same exact story about a year, the only difference is that in the story from last year it was for a gameboy advanced. These stories sound like Urban Legends but they do actually happen every year.
During the Cabbage Patch Doll craze of the late 80's a very similar incident happened at a K-Mart in Louisiana. Large crowd waiting to be turned loose, the blue light goes off, the crowd surges and tramples an elderly woman, and just as in this recent case, the crowd is totally oblivious of her cries for help as they continue stomping on her while grabbing the dolls. She won six figure damages from K-Mart and the case established a precedent in the "trampled shopper" genre.

Today's Sears supplement has a $29.99 DVD player, and not that APEX brand but KOSS, a good brand name once, plus "10% OFF everything", or is it minus? Don't have to stand in line at 3AM to get it either!

My wife is tiny. I'm not. If she fell and people started walking on her, the scene would look something like Neo VS all those agent smiths as I thrashed about like an Angry Bull.
What the hell is wrong with these people????

You don't know my standards. My standards say ridiculing handicapped people is out of line.

Actually, he wasn't handicapped, it was trailer-park Gregg, an internet fad from a few years back. You probably won't find that funny either, though.
