President Bush made a surprise visit to our troops in Iraq today, he arrived on Airforce One at Baghdad International Airport just after dark and surprised some 600 soldiers before being served a full course traditional Thanksgiving meal. President Bush was greeted with a thunderous applause from the surprised troops that clearly touched the Commander-in-Chief

I am late, as usual, but I have to post here today. I feel that this was President Bush's finest hour (besides the events after 9-11). This beats the aircraft carrier landing by leaps & bounds. It is funny because when I heard that the Hildebeast was in Afghan, with the troops, I thought to myself, "I wish President Bush would go to Iraq and visit the troops and shut some of those liberals up!" But I knew it was "impossible." Little do I know. NOTHING is impossible to this man. I was already on a high this morning (after the baby's birth, two days before Thanksgiving), but this just blew me away. I found myself beaming and even got a little 'verklempt' when telling my wife what had happened. At the risk of gushing, I felt like all was right with the world. A simple flight into Baghdad was not going to bring an end to the fighting, but this was a morale booster like this country hasn't seen in a looooong time. And not just for those brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us. I am so proud of this man and so proud to defend him-- even more than ever before. No liberal will ever try to trash him to me again that I won't bring up this surprise visit to the troops. This will shut them up, at least for a while. I know that Dean, Kerry, and Clark are just kicking themselves for not doing this first. And I am sure quite a few of Hitlery's personal assistants were called "f---ing jew bastards" and hit with her flying shoes for not keeping her in the spotlight on this day. I wish I could have been there to see her meltdown when she found out the news outlets were not covering her trip because they were covering Bush's visit to the troops! Thank God for this President each and every day.
Oh yeah, then my Dolphins stomped the Cowboys today! This has been a very good week.

And that type of reporting is why Fox News is beating the crap out of CNN.

And the conservatives are going to beat the stuffing out of the liberals in November. The libs are going to be crawling around on their stomachs like the hideous varmints they are.

OK, now that was my laugh for the day. It seems they've let their jealously show just a tad. These people may not be able to grasp the magnitude of President Bush's historic visit today, but one need look no further than the reactions on the men and women's faces that he visited this morning. THEY are the only ones he was trying to impress, if you can even call it that, and they truly were impressed.

No wonder Howie is ticked. Two Fox reporters were invited but ... well, he wasn't.
Glad Jim Angle got to go, he's one of my favs.
It was a great day for the troops and our President.

Do those stupid fools think the trip should have been announced to the world giving the terrorist his exact ETA. What a bunch of morons. The ONLY way this could be pulled off was exactally the way it was. In Secret. Obviously no one in the White House felt they could be trusted.

The reporters put themselves in harms way. They did not have to go. The President put himself in harms way and he wasn't moaning about it. Reporters need to get a life.

He is saying that he put reporters in harms way, RECKLESSWait a minute! Wait a minute! I don't have cable so I'm going by your posts here but didn't Kurtz quote one reporter who thought for certain that the flight should have taken MORE reporters. They want it both ways........or any way except the way it was magnificently done. Just LOL at them!

Just who do they think they are?? But, Mo, remember in the not too distant past when these self-important rulers of the day's news would spew forth this kind of talk and the scared pubbies would hasten to conform? It ain't aworkin' any more.........*dancing around the room and singing....tra la la la la*..............ROFL!
To: Lemondropkid31
What was the score? Something like 40-21. I don't think Miami's offense has scored 40 points all year, but they managed it today.

I'm with you! I watched the tape several times and it brought a tear to my eye each time. God bless this man!
Unlike the creeps at DU, even my liberal dinner guest thought GWB was quite the man today. And that was before she'd seen any video. When I turned on FNC she was even more excited.
What a surprise! What a wonderful day!
