Yet another article from CNNFN that accentuates the negative. This is part of an ongoing effort to document the anti-prosperity bias that is inherent in the coverage of economic news on CNNFN.COM.
This is the "headline" story on cnnfn.com on Thanksgiving evening.

When the GDP is up by 8.2% and almost every single indicator is on the rise, the only "black friday" is gonna be when the Democrats start seeing the headlines that read "THE BUSH BOOM"

The Conference Board in a survey Monday said U.S. households on average are expected to spend $455 on gifts this year, down 5 percent from 2002. Oh please say it isn't so.
Come on America! Spend! Spend! Spend! Spend! Your way into prosperity!!!

CompUSA had a monster sale last night, alot of stuff free after rebates. The place was mobbed.
Several stores were open with sales today too. I think Christmas this year will be good for retailers, up alot from last year.

The stores around here have been wall to wall people for the past week. Tomorrow will look like the battle of Pearl Harbor reinacted by the Barley Townswomen's Guild.

It's called black Friday because you're gonna come out black and blue if you rush in where angels fear to tread - THE SHOPPING MALLS AFTER THANKSGIVING !!!
To: MediaMole
Fix bayonets and charge it!
To: Recovering_Democrat
The last day of Thanksgiving week gets its name from the hope that on that day merchants' financial statements will move out of the red and into the black. Nothing negative about it.
