You know what? He's my president. I'm proud of him. But I still want to send him some sort of message that increasing gov't spending for frivilous reasons is not ok. Don't get me wrong. He's won my vote back, but I'll work in the primaries to defeat anyone in Congress who voted for the prescription drug bill.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, how wonderful to see this dear man do such an heroic act on behalf of our military.

God bless him, and our country. How much we have for which to be grateful!

the only morale problem he found was that soldiers who were not U.S. citizens said they were having trouble becoming citizens, and said that would be the best Christmas present ever.

That's one thing I don't understand. If someone is risking their life fighting for the country, give them citizenship.

One incident the reporter didn't see or write about: apparently a British Airways flight got close enough to see the presidential seal, and radioed, asking if it was Air Force One. After a long silence, Air Force One answered that they were not...said the plane was a Gulfstream (?). I think that's what the broadcaster called it...I know zilch about planes. Of course, it wasn't...that plane is much smaller than the 747. Anyway, the British Airways captain just replied, "oh" and flew on!
