I just finished reading this thread, and saw the incredible footage of our President with the troops. As a former Marine I must say that I am so proud to have George W. Bush as my President. That he would fly into Bahgdad of all places! I took notice that he spent his time with the troops - not the brass. What a leader! God Bless this man and our great country.

Why does the press *always* put a slightly (or worse) negative spin on every caption? "violence-scarred" "intense pressure" etc.
