I'm trying to catch up on the thread before I leave for the Coast Guard base today.

Good... I hope February comes quickly for you then. I don't know what to think of your concerns about the dangers... I will pray for your safety and that wisdom is guiding the decisions for those sending you out.

Do you have regular internet access there where it is easy to communicate with home? Would think that the ability to see and send notes and pictures would mean alot. Specially of that Mini Cut, who is growing so fast. The unit we (Hobbit Hole) supported in Aghanistan did have good access, but the unit we are supporting now in Baghdad still doesn't have email ~real~ regularly.

"Look, turkey," says the bartender, "I didn't have any grapes yesterday, I don't have any today, and I'm not going to have any tomorrow. And if you come back here asking for grapes again, I'm gonna nail your feet to the bar."

"Got any nails?"

My local ISP Dial-up has just been restored. I called the help desk and she contacted someone and it's working now. Let's hope it stays that way through the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday.
