As a physician here in the US I want to know when in He-- I am going to get my BILLIONS. Or maybe my MILLIONS. I've been in practice for 18 years and do not have close to one MILLION. But if I ever do get those Billions or Millions I want you to know I worked for my property(ie fruit of My labors) and you and the GOVERNMENT can keep your hands off of my property. I do not look kindly on robbers or tresspassors. That way I can have my FREEDOM to spend it or bury it in the ground if I WANT.

As to your non spaced, barely readable rant, at what point have I or essentially anyone on FreeRepublic suggested the government should confiscate your wealth?
In fact, if you spent more than a cursory search here at FreeRepublic, I suspect that you'd find that confiscatory taxtion is the antithesis of the goals of FreeRepublic.
That said, I worked for a GP for 3 years. I know the medical business. GPs don't get rich. They do however do "better than average". Way better. A Gp in a private practice can easily do 120-175k/year without a sweat. If you're not making that and you've truly got a medical DR, you're living in a backwater and seeing fewer than 20 patients a day.
Why you would come to FR and suggest that the folks here want to take your money is beyond me. I suspect if you asked most of the folks here, most would suggest that taxes shouldn't exceed more than a few percent to support the military and roads.

I think he was ranting about this, Malsua:
Do Doctors really need to become billionaires because they practice medicine in America?
LOL! I've been waiting for a doctor to see that one. Hoo boy.
What a good idea, we'll cut the doctors' salaries and pass laws that forbid drug companies from making profits.
It's a good idea, if what we want is a shortage of doctors and no new drugs ever...
