I'm pretty much over it. Europeans are a parochial back of collectivist wolves, of limited intelligence and unlimited venality. Their opinions are irrelevant... as are they.

Many Europeans sneer that America, a society still in a primitive state, ruled by violence and criminality,

Europe had been in a cycle of warfare, violence and criminality dating back to the death of Marcus Aurelius until America imposed the Pax Americana in 1945.

After I read pieces like these I wonder, dumbfoundedly, how it is that we, as Americans, continue to deny the reality of European malevolence. Why do we find it necessary to continue to support and defend these people and their nefarious delusions with our blood and treasure? When I read a poll that shows that 58% of Germans consider France to be a better ally than the US, and this, after 50 years of providing their protection, and then read another poll that shows that 76% of the French consider the US to be an an aggressive "hyperpower" solely responsible for our current war on terror, and then consider the dangerous political maneuvering of both countries with respect to the UN and the run-up to the Iraqi War that led to the deaths of American servicemen, then throw in the absolute treachery and perfidy of their past and present behavior toward the US, I ask myself why in the name of God we Americans continue to throw money at these denizens of the devil; a devil that they don't even recognize, since they are now all post-religionist and post-modernist.

I read in the Detroit News today about a lawsuit that Kirk Kirkorian filed against Daimler-Benz outlining the backstabbing way in which the Germans mis-represented their negotiating position with respect to the Chrysler and Daimler merger not being "between equals", as they said, but as a sneaky way of acquiring and controlling that venerable American car company. The most disgusting aspect of that sorry story was the way in which the American workers were sold out by gutless American managers, whose primary motive was to take the buy-out money and run, abandoning the Chrysler workers to their new German masters.

Haven't we Americans, many of whom are the progeny of those who left Europe to escape the influence of these dastardly people, learned anything? Why have we forgotten our own history, both the distant and not-too-distant past, of suffering at the hands of these monster?

Since 9/11 I have begun to regularly check the source of any product or good that I buy to ensure that I am not procuring ANYTHING that comes from France, Germany, or anywhere else that has a connection with any country that continues to take big shits on the United States. I just wish that more Americans would do the same.

Envy is the second deadly sin. Most of what the Europeans believe about us is grounded in envy. Chaucer believed envy was the most important deadly sin since its aim was to destroy the envied object.
