It may be that his brother worked for the CIA and was killed by the enemy while doing it. The fact that he has a flag sort of leads me to think that may actually be the case. Drudge and those complaining are assuming that the military got it wrong, it could be that the military knows exactly what its doing. I see no reason for the Bush Defense department to show favoritism to Dean's brother, that pretty much leaves a low level mistake or that he was actually on duty.

If his brother was CIA, it's time to let the cat out of the bag. Even Dean claims he doesn't know if that's the fact.

I think his brother was just a hippy photojournalist, looking for some atrocities to smear the American soldiers with. I could be wrong, but that's how it looks to me.

I think this special treatment he is getting now is only because his brother is a big time politician. And that's really scummy to the ordinary soldiers who died for both Dean and his hippy brother. And me.

p.s. if he actually was on duty and killed by the enemy then he earned the honor. We should be quite careful to make sure that we know for sure that he did not earn the honor before opening our mouths. It would be quite sad to find out that he did actually die in service undercover and then got called names like "putz" on FR for it.

I don't care if he is Howard Dean's brother or Al Sharpton's grandpa. If he died in service he deserves the honor and until I know for sure, I'll give the DOD the benefit of the doubt.

There are many democrats in the military and the Pentagon. This does not in the least prove that the man was CIA. It proves that the Dean campaign has some high level supporters.

Have you noticed how Dean does not in the least give off an aura of warmth? He appears extremely cold and calculating. He tends to scare me. I would not want such a man in control of my government and my future.

How would you like a man like Dean with control of the "buttons"? How would you like a man like Dean with the defense of you and your family?

Not me - I have trust in Bush and would never - ever - put my defense in the hands of a democrat.

Do the CIA take Australian tourists with them on missions?
