I think it's horrible that "activists" are trying to associate Fr. Judge with their disastrous lifestyle, on the basis of (possible) private feelings on which he's not known to have acted. The "gay lifestyle" is all about behavior. IF he had an attraction to men, that no more makes him "gay" than my feeling a passing urge to stomp my 3-year-old makes me a murderess. A person's temptations to any kind of sin are between him and his confessor.

IF he had fantasized or otherwise acted upon the temptations it would be a sin. But we have no proof he did anything but maybe admit temptation.

It is hardly a legitimate position that he was an openly gay priest.

You nailed it. Macy's is in a lose/lose situation here, but I hope they'll do the honorable thing and opt for kicking him out if he shows up in Mrs Santa drag. Afterall, the Thanksgiving Day Parade is for KIDS and parents don't want to have a pervert talk with their children tomorrow for cryin out loud!
