Prayer Request
Posted on 11/25/2003 3:37:17 PM PST by BlueNgold
Asking for prayer. Received news today of a registered pedophiliac sex offender being given unsupervised visitation of his children (overnights included). Said perp petitioned the courts for a modification of his child custody arrangements, court Pshrink recommended the request be granted, and the judge capitulated despite voicing grave concerns. The Mother, and the rest of her family, are obviously very upset and in need of prayer. And please don't forget the children the CA courts saw fit to place at risk.
State: CA
County: Placer

I will be praying. This is beyond contemptible.

The judge will be up for election/re-election -- in California a Superior Court judge has a 6-year term. This case ought to be publicized then. We got rid of Rose Bird and her allies...

The mother is already contacting all of the local media outlets. I expect this judge to face some scrutiny and resistence when her (a female judge no less) term comes due for re-election.

Remember Elizabeth Morgan? She hid her daughter rather than let a sexually-abusive father take the girl for unsupervised visits. She was thrown in jail for contempt of court and stayed there for 18 months rather than endanger her daughter (who was by now hidden with Morgan's parents in New Zealand.) President Bush (41) finally signed a bill to release Morgan, that said one cannot be held indefinitely on contempt charges in such cases. Just something to consider.

While driving through a Midwestern "red" state several years ago I overheard a story along these lines while listening to a couple of truckers chat on the CB. Turns out a family member of one of the truckers was on the losing end of the custody dispute. When he mentioned that he and his family were going to "do something about it" when he got home a few days later, I knew there was still hope for America.

I hope God has a special place in hell reserved for pedophiles.
I know the Lord says that, "Vengeance is mine", but, concerning pedophiles, I wish I lived a hundred years ago.
There would never be a trial.
