Huh. About that many. Let's see:

Scottsdale - Falcon - Glendale - Deer Valley - Chandler - Williams - Goodyear - Carefree.

Then Sky Harbor itself, which has more private traffic than you'd believe, and three private fields that I can't remember the names of (one of which has a bit of traffic).

I think that's it.

Was it Los Alamitos Air Station? The ZipperHead landed there on many occasions while on AF1.

That's the one.

I should have remembered it cause I always had to talk to them while flying banners.

The time I remember was towing a private banner over mile-square-park. I think. Anyway, I sat there and waited on Clinton to show up so I could see it take off. He was late, and I ran out of time.

They didn't shut down the whole world, silly.

The planes are landing at John Wayne...why I just heard one overhead.

Just Phoenix.

But that's enough to prevent me from going anywhere in the world in my plane.

I could be a smart arse and say so all those folks will just have to wait 4 or 5 hours longer to go to vegas. Or that you must be a commie but I can't, you are right this seems a little excessive.

I'm sympathetic to your argument, especially when the POTUS is visiting primarily to attend re-election fundraising events. That's not public business.

You'd probably be the first one posting your sorrow if something happened to President Bush. Somehow, it would ring hollow after your tantrum.

I'd thought of that. But that's the risk you take to excersise your first amendment right to whine.

What's your problem?

A thirty mile radius and an FAA that doesn't always get the word out on time for starters.

Seriously, SERIOUSLY NOW.....that's how a presidential TFR looks. I did not alter the format. They haven't done a damn thing to enhance presidential security. Did you notice how many airports were closed? One was even for sailplanes. What if ground traffic in a 30 mile radius was halted? They're more of a threat than airplanes.
