WHat did he know, and when did he know it? I demand an investigation!MEMO TO CHAD FAIRBANKS
Good idea, but don't you think it would benefit us the most if we employ the apparatus of this committee to launch the investigation just prior to the Presidential 2004 election?
Yours,
Jay Rockefeller

That was my first thought.
My son drives 18 wheelers similiar to this one.
I fail to understand what makes some folks in FR, and especially on this thread, think something like people burning to death is funny.

Truck explodes on I-70
11/24/2003
Interstate 70 is closed near downtown St. Louis tonight following a fiery truck crash near Union Boulevard.
Could have been a stray bullet, knowing that area. Or just a reckless driver causing an accident, which is also very common on that stretch of highway. There are some sloping hills on turns in the highway there, and crashes in that area are not uncommon. Nothing on the local news as of yet to speak of. It is confirmed the crash occured but nothing else.

delivery truck ran into an abandoned vehicle parked on the highway.Wouldn't be surprised to find out that was an abandoned STOLEN vehicle. St. Louis has one car stolen about every 45 minutes.

Young man! Has it occurred to you that that could be a picture of a Freeper's son or brother? What have you got to say for yourself? That I have posted his picture with the premise that he/I am a winner.
Why, what are you reading into it? Something negative...?

I also know that stretch very well having used Bircher Blvd exit to get to our terminal on Union. Those curves and hills were tricky especially with a heavily loaded trailer.
A gas tanker turned over here in KC about a week and half ago. Driver was killed and the roadway had such huge gouges from the fire it has to be resurfaced.
