I am sorry that you all were greeted by a GRUFF man when you and the class brought food to the pantry. Know in your hearts that you all have done something wonderful. My Thank You to all. Have recently been involved in collecting food for 9 needy families. I will never know who the families are, won't be the one to deliver the food. But was happy to be a part of it.

Thanks Colleen. We just wanted the kids to see something more substantial than a blackhole ending to their feat. Telling them the good they did is one thing. Being a part of the finishing task is more real.
You're in NY, right?
Odd thing today. Amanda and Douglas had 1/2 day of school scheduled for for Wednesday, day before Thanksgiving as usually. Today the principal cancelled school for Wednesday.
No explaination. My initial thoughts are sometype of lock down. Do you know if any NY schools that had school, closed for Wednesday?
