Aqua, you are doing such a wonderful job with all your work here!
We so appreciate all you hostesses do to bring these to life each day, and the contributions made by the Finest Family and others who come by....
This time of year is so difficult for our military and their families, with separation issues keenly felt over the holidays.
I pray for them all - for their safety - and hope they know how appreciative we are of what they do for us.
They are the heart and the HANDS of America, actively striving to preserve our ideals, wherever that takes them.
In this time of worldwide terror, we ask God to be in our midst and guide us to do what might be His will.
Only in that will we survive.
Father, we come before you asking Your help in keeping this a nation of those who will follow You. There is no other way except through You.
Be with our warriors and their familes, Father, giving them strength and sureness of purpose.
Amen.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for the military and their families. They are much needed at this time. Good night (((hugs)))

I see the answer to my prayers for those 'odd jobs' have already borne fruit, Rus..:))
Your friend Dawn is an exceptional woman indeed, and she will remain firmly in the prayers of many. Please tell her of our love and admiration, and how we beseech the Lord to bless this situation.
Yes - Paul is the source of tremendous comfort and inspiration, bearing all things as he did so well.
God used him in a mighty way, still effective through all these generations!!

Oh, I'm sure I'll hear the real explanation. I'm not too worried about it. It is probably just a spooky coincidence ^-^

Oh my. That picture makes my face look so "full". I told Aqua to make my face look thinner. LOL It's getting rounder the older I get. What's up with that? Thanks for saying kind things about me. They are not deserved. You are always so gracious and sweet to me.
We had a beautiful time in NC. I'm pretty disappointed in not meeting my saintly mother figure LadyX. I will plan something soon and plan a little better. I thought she was closer to our vacation home than she was and we weren't able to make it by her place on Saturday.
Aqua was a very special person. Our meeting was like hugging and old friend. She was one of my first friends her and has always been faithful and kind. I wish we hadn't been in a hurry to get home, because it would have been nice to visit longer.
How is your husband doing? Is it beautiful up there this time of year or have all the leaves blown away. (((miss you Nanaroonie))). We're never on at the same time.

I'm disappointed to have missed seeing you, Spooky, but understand how it just wasn't feasible, and I'm so happy you at least got to see Aqua and her husband!
Hate to post and run, but need to execute a 'fill 'er up' now before bedtime.
Hope to spend more time on the Finest tomorrow....
Good night, everyone.

Hope you are still here Spooky. Your face is not round. It's beautiful. And, I'm sorry too that you missed seeing my wonderful Sistah. You can't imagine what an inspiration she is. Oh, the winter has set in here today. Yesterday was 70 degrees. Today it snowed a bit. Leaves all gone and I have my Christmas decorations up outside. Thankful I got them up before the cold hit.
My good news that I shared with Maggie by e-mail earlier is that I'm going to be a grandma for the very first time. My son and wife just found out today. They have been trying for four years. We're all very happy.

Oh my goodness Nana...that's wonderful, terrific, blessed news. I'm so excited for all of you. You know....I found out I was pregnant with Jonah the week of Thanksgiving, come to think of it. It will make your Thanksgiving extra special this year. There is always so much to be thankful for.
Praise God for answering prayers and blessing us with children.
Give your son and his wife my love. I'll pray tonight for a safe, healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. When is she due?

I was so excited I forgot to ask. I'm guessing in the summer around July. Fourth of July would be nice. Yes, children are a blessing. This is my youngest son. The other two children will never have any children. One a confirmed bachelor, the other a 45 year old career woman. This son was my only chance to have a grandchild and I will be 70 next week.

I honestly thought about that. But I would be worried about any kind of backlash that could happen to Vicky (teacher/owner of the preschool). She is an active member at the town's Chamber of Commerce. And you know it isn't politically correct to say anything negative about a nonprofit.
If it was just a reflection on me...I don't mind. I'm sure you all have seen that I tend to be on the 'speak my mind' side. But I don't do things that can wrongly reflect others.
