[history]
Violence linked to immigrant smuggling mounted Sunday with the gruesome discovery in the West Valley desert of three more Hispanic men shot execution-style.
The killings brought the count of similar deaths on the west side to 12 and prompted investigators to warn that there is no end in sight to the string of murders.

Don't want to end up dead in the desert? Either STAY HOME or enter this country LEGALLY. Let's face it, it isn't that hard.

I've got no pity here. Hell, if it was up to me, the entire border with Mexico would be a heavily-mined DMZ.

Yeah lol...we spend billions of US tax payer money risking the lives of our kids on the DMZ in Korea...
Yet we wont even seal off our own borders this in the light of 09-11and continual threats overt acts and foiled attempts of terrorism by both internal and external billgerants...
We protect everybody elses borders but our own...

I would say. What would happen to the unlucky American citizen who happened to be a witness to this?

I'm surprised they don't try to blame it on ranchers or conservative vigilantes. I guess even liberal presstitutes recognize that there's something not very nice about the Coyotes who smuggle humans across the border for cash.

Illegal Aliens are not ImmigrantsSorry, immigrant is applicable to their description whether there are laws contravening their actions or not.

I'm surprised they don't try to blame it on ranchers or conservative vigilantes. The pro-illegal immigration camp did just that when the first eight illegals were executed 18 months ago.
Even though these 3 killings were identical to the others, they are separated by 18 months. It really is a bit of a stretch to tie them together, other than to say they are related to either smugglers of people or smugglers of drugs.

Hmmm...easy access in and out either along 91st or Baseline, on the reservation, near the river. Not a lot of housing, so not many people...a .22 to the base of the skull would be perfect.
In a city of over a million residents, yet.

I'm surprised they don't try to blame it on ranchers or conservative vigilantes. It offends the Mexicans if you blame it on the powerful drug cartels who did this. They find dead bodies like this all the time in Mexico --- you make a bad drug deal, you get killed, this is just Mexican crime spilling over to the USA side of the border.

Bermudez said government policy also makes it difficult for migrant workers to report the most violent of the "coyotes."Sure --- it's all America's fault --- the real reason they won't talk is they know full well what happens to snitches ---- they are tortured very badly before being murdered. These guys aren't so terrified of the drug cartels if they are willing to get involved with them. Mexican popular music is full of praise and admiration of the drug lords ----- not fear.
