My sister had a friend who thought she was going into a real marriage with a guy from Greece ---- once they left the altar, she never saw or heard from him again and realized it was just for the green card ---- he had actually courted her and tricked her. She ended up having to pay a lot of money and several years to get a divorce because his address was unknown.
