[history]
The girl who tried to start a Caucasian Club at her California high school has abandoned the effort and transferred to another school, driven away, her parents say, by the harassment and name-calling she suffered from other students.
Lisa McClelland, 15, left Freedom High School in Oakley and began attending another secondary school in the Liberty Union High School District several weeks ago, said her mother, Debi Neely.

A shame but unsurprising

It must be hard at the age of 15 to understand the injustice which lurks in the government against one's race. This goes for all races..However, it appears that now, Caucasian children are under oppression in our society, simply because the Founding Fathers of this nation were Caucasian. The real fact is that over the whole world the white race is becoming extinct and is a very small percentage of the whole. Perhaps that is a good thing but if there are clubs representing other races in the public school, which you and I pay for with our tax dollars, then Lisa should not be persecuted for wanting to be a part of the human race with all the rest of them. The idea of equality in this case, it seems to me, is a farce. I hope Lisa will use this harsh lesson to get her education and then, continue the fight for true equality.

...abandoned the effort and transferred to another school, driven away, her parents say, by the harassment and name-calling she suffered from other students. What? I don`t understand! How could this have...Oh it`s California. But of course. The state that mandated that all 8th graders take a three week course in Islam.

Freedom High?
Liberty Union District?
The irony is screaming at anyone who will listen!

This girl should have gone to a school with a classical curriculum. She would be steeped in Western Civilization 6 hours a day, 180 days a year.
She wouldn't have to try to form a caucasion club and then put up with the ensuing hostility.
Sometimes it's best to just walk away.

This is good. Nothing more is needed to breed hatred in native Americans against the socialist tyranny they are subjected to from the cradle to the grave. tick..tick..tick

I don't believe she had racist thoughts before but she may have them now. I always say if you call someone a racist enough times, they become one.

...She's got more courage than I do." This says it all. It's pretty sad when you need "courage" just to start up a Caucasian club, when clubs for other races and ethnicities are allowed, encouraged, and praised.

Unfortunately most people equate Caucasian with European when in fact most Caucasians aren't of European extraction. She should have started a European club. That would have been more analogous to an Asian club or an African club.
