Jackson's explicit letters seized

By CAROLINE GRAHAM and SHARON CHURCHER in London

November 24, 2003

EXPLICIT letters and poems said to have been written by Michael Jackson to his alleged victim will form the centrepiece of the sex-abuse case against him.

Police seized at least a dozen letters during the raid on Jackson's Neverland ranch last week.

"The district attorney is convinced these letters will be crucial to the case against Jackson," a source close to the investigation said yesterday.

"The boy told investigators about letters and poems and their precise location inside Michael's home. These letters were among the evidence seized, along with videotapes.

"They are very explicit and intimate and show a degree of familiarity. Basically, they appear to be love letters from Michael to the boy."

The accuser, 12-year-old Los Angeles cancer victim (name redacted by moderator), also told police Jackson's pet name for him was Rubba.

"The boy first told this to his therapist, then repeated it to police," the source said.

"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba. The boy said, 'Michael told me he was my rubba rubba friend."'

Although police handling the case in Santa Barbara, California, have been barred from revealing any details, it is understood the alleged abuse took place in February.

Jackson is said to have befriended (name redacted by moderator) -- who, during a controversial British documentary screened earlier this year, admitted having shared a bed with the singer -- over a long period.

A source close to 45-year-old Jackson said: "For the past five or six years, he's taken kids from fractured homes and nurtured them as a father figure. As they get older, he teaches them fun things to do.

"Michael says he learned this from an adult when he was a teenager. No-one on his staff ever said anything. He's a tyrant. Everybody obeys the man."

Another Jackson source said: "The boy told of everything that went on and described things in Michael's closets, his bathroom, what was under his bed."

In her statements to police, Gavin's mother, Janet Ventura, has revealed that Jackson encouraged her son to call him "Daddy".

Ms Ventura has claimed she, (name redacted by moderator) and his two siblings were held virtual prisoners at Neverland, 100km north of Santa Barbara.

When she learned of her son's accusations of molestation -- which included claims that Jackson plied him with wine and sleeping pills -- she fled with her family in the dead of night.

A source close to district attorney Tom Sneddon, who will prosecute the case, said: "The DA is very confident with the evidence he has. This includes letters, videos and computer files. They believe they have enough to nail Jackson."

Jackson's legal team is said to be encouraging him to consider a plea bargain, possibly an insanity defence that would allow him to serve time in a state mental hospital instead of jail.

There was speculation yesterday that the singer raised his $3 million bail with the help of Miami-based Al Malnik, a lawyer for notorious gangster Meyer Lansky, who died in 1983.

Malnik reportedly began making large loans to Jackson when his career nosedived.

Malnik, 69, was cited by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1980 and 1992 as a person of unsuitable character.

The prosecution source said: "It just gets weirder and weirder. Michael supposedly has financial problems, but hiring someone with Mob connections is bizarre."

Prosecutors are said to be spreading a net around the world for other alleged victims. One boy of special interest is said to be in El Salvador, another in South Africa.

They are also said to be considering quizzing the son of an English premiership footballer.

Charges of aiding and abetting are likely to be filed against members of Jackson's entourage.

At the same time as the Neverland swoop, police raided two homes in Los Angeles.

One was reportedly the residence of Marc Schaffel, a gay video producer who filmed the rebuttal tape Jackson released just after Martin Bashir's British documentary aired.

Actually, I'm not calling DemocRAT voters child molestors. I'm saying they belong in mental institutions.

Clearly, Michael Jackson has a mental illness. He needs professional and pyschiatric help and his victims should be fully compensated instead of throwing him to prison where he wouldn't last a tenth of a second.

"Ordinary" pedophiles get put in prison, often for many years, even though many of them could justifiably be (and are) diagnosed with psychiatric illness.

Why do you think MJ should be treated any better- is it because he's a rich celebrity?

"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba.."

And the full name of the game is "Rubba rubba off". Hey, I wonder how they read these poems because I know Jackson is illiterate. He can barely spell. "I luv yo liddle bouy. I wand tu pley weth yo." That`s how he writes.

Yeah, that was when Michael Jackson WAS Michael Jackson. The handsome black man who danced and sang like silk instead of this cartoonish mofo.

I'm guessing you don't see anyting wrong with comparing Democrats to child molesters, but do you understand why that sort of comparison would be offensive to most normal people?

Not really. They support the homosexuals. Their party wants the age of sexual consent lowered, so homosexual pedophillia would be considered normal. If they vote Democrat, they're voting to give political power to these people. In a supportive way, yes, they support the homosexual pedopillia agenda. Birds of a feather flock together.
His/her opinion is logical. The Left is known for their incrementalism.

I never saw any good in Jacksons music. There wasn't a real solid talent there. It appealed to those who like the same sound over and over and over again. It was boring.

This is nothing but a general statement that contains your biased opinion. You obviously are not a fan of soul/pop/R & B music and never even listened to none of Michael's early work. Even those who believe that Michael's conduct and personality is detrimental concede that he's still a legendary singer with fantastic work that rivals the likes of the Beatles and Elvis Presley, if not surpasses.

I could easily just make a statement saying that Garth Brooks or Johnny Cash sucks, but I won't because I rarely listen to country music enough to form an opinion of it.

It's mostly young teen stuff, 10-17? Adults don't buy that crap, do they?

If true, this guy is toast. They must have some major open and shut evidence on MJ, graphic letters, videos. But somehow I get the feeling MJ will pull the race card no matter what. Wonder if he`ll get Al Sharpton to ride around with him in a double decker bus in that liberal sphincter hole of the east coast, NYC, and call the prosecutor "Satan", like he did with Tommy Matola. "hee hee...My record is not selling...It`s because Tommy Matola is Satan hee hee.."

MJ will pull the race card no matter what.

Jessie Jackson was defending him today. The same guy that defended the rapist while having a mistress of his own. Sheesh!
Anyway, he said to wait until we see what they have against this wonderful, honest, godly man (Not in those words, but close enough).
Yet, he wants Rush to get the death penality for "breakiung the laws of this land".(He said nothing about the Hollywood entertainers who've gone or are going through rehab for illegal drug use, of course. They're "special").

Actually, Jackson's music has always been a hit with people from all demographics. Especially adults, who grew up in the 70s and are now passing down the music to their kids.

A celebrity worship thing. I suppose they'll do the same for Britteney Spears someday, too. Like Madonna.
It would be nice if the music was as good as the show, though. Then it would show real talent. It would be so unusual, it would truely be legandary, ya know?
I don't care for hearing the same noise over and over. Once you 've heard one tune, you've heard them all.

His brother Jermaine has already called the Santa Barbara prosecutors "redneck racists"

The DA releasing more baseless propaganda to smear Jackson.

This DA has been after Jackson since '93 and he has known it, he even wrote about it. And he left himself wide open by openly chasing boys around the last decade or so. I have little sympathy.

He and his evil need to be permanently separated from society. He needs life behind bars.

Jackson bought his way out of the first molestation. That doesn't mean there wasn't proof he did it.
They even changed the molestation laws so the pedophiliacs couldn't buy their way out again.

Even most of the psychiatric community admit there isn't a magic "cure" for pedophiles... He deserves the death penalty (although we know that's not an option) if he's molested children. The prison cells should be reserved for the parents that resorted to selling their children as sex slaves.

Wait until we find out that the little "Prince Michaels" are zero % MJ DNA, that he simply purchased designer babies, and that he has had plastic surgeons remolding their little Nordic faces into MJ's fantasy clones. (That's why there faces are always covered in public, IMHO.)

My bet is this sick freak is going to off himself and "his" children with sleeping pills in his bed.

I hope they get the kids away from him first. Then I wouldn't care what he did. I hope his trip to hell is an unpleasant one.
