Gen 6:1-4
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

I guess I should have gone back to the home page. I googled it because I remembered reading about or seeing a tv show on tall red haired mummies that were found in China. The site was listed on the google results. I posted because of the pictures of the mummies. As I stated, I didn't read the content.

Some of what they post may be legitimate scholarship... It is too bad that it gets tainted with their stink.
To: Swordmaker
agreed. I will pay more attention to the content and afilliation of links in the future. My apologies.

Yeah, my post said that. I was interested just in the tall/red hair aspect.

"Si-Te-Cah" sounds phonetically a lot like "Seteca".

Wasn't there a Seteca tribe of native Americans? Or I am having memory-dyslexia?

Come to think of it now, it was "Seneca" maybe.

"Human settlements of very ancient dates (11-13,000) have been found in the Klamath Basin." That was an interesting article, thanks.

Have red headed people alway's been mean? That's fiery-tempered to you, NOT mean.
The links in the posts in the Gods, Graves and Glyphs list will take you to some sites that propose the notion that the ginger gene for redhair is an artifact of Neanderthal heritage as a result of the mixing of Cro-Magnon and the Neanderthals. Other traits may include autism and systic fibrosis.
Fascinating stuff.

If I had an overnight radio program, this is the sort of stuff I'd cover. The real archeology and anthropolgy is always more interesting than re-hashing Roswell ad infinitum.

Actually, there was a Nova or National Geographic documentary about Caucasians that had traveled through Asia. National Geographic magazine documented that there was a Christian Church in China that dated back to the early AD's. And I had a Japanese History professor in college that said one of the native inhabitants of of the island of Haikkaido were several tribes of "proto-caucosoids." It seems that the world was really a much busier, if not necessarily more inhabited, place than we are taught.
