Tired of patriotism being defined as dissent (read: undermining the president at every turn and harboring a scarcely concealed hope for the failure of his policies). Patriotism has a discrete meaning: love of country and zeal in its defense! Libs like to think it's whatever fits their behavior!

It violates "the pledge the president made to not exploit 9-11 for political purposes," Clark said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

The dems have proven there is nothing that they won't exploit for political purposes.

Once again the hypocrite dems are demanding that the GOP play fair, when that is something they, themselves NEVER do.

Right you are!! Libs trying to turn War on Terror to their advantage. All they have is negativity. And nothing is out of bounds! They give new meaning to hypocrisy every moment! They are a barren landscape!

If this is the Dims' response, the ad is doing its job.

man, the truth hurts..

this RNC ad is probably the most successful ever, it was only a 80,000 dollar buy and yet get all these dims calling foul, and get more airplay nationalwide...

maybe, according to the world of the dimwits, the RNC should just sit around and do nothing while the dims keep on spreading lies about this war on terror. To prove the dims are for national security, show me just ONE, junt ONE, piece of work these guys ahve done since 9/11 that have improved our security. Waiting for the terrorists to hit, forever yakkings in the UN, limited the fundings of our troops on the grounds in Iraq now, and constant attacker Bush on his war on Iraq and suggesting a pullout is exactly what the dims had done since 9/11. Thank God that we don't have a Prez Gore or else we will change our policies every week according to the latest Gallup reads..maybe the first thing a Prez Gore will read everyday is a Gallup poll chart instead of a threat matrix composed by the CIA/FBI/DHS. For those we shouldn't attack till the threat is imminent crowd, maybe they can form a special hit team commanded by Perfumed Prince Gen Clark, with fella commandos - Lt. Howiee Dean, Rabbi Joe, Rev. Al, Chef Kerry (with his 57 varities), JAG Edwards (make sure we are ethical in our treatment of thugs), Press Communicator Mosely-Baun (with her non stop brillant smiles), Major Gephardt (on his 26th tour of duty at the age of 76), and most importantly the hit assasin Dennis the boywonder (with his funny hairdo) - gee - with a lineup like that, if I were Mohammad Atta, I'd stop on my tracks by these guys on 9/10/2001 - cuz the hit will know that the threat is IMMINENT.

I was watching NY1 News (local NY City news) and they had Police Commissioner Kelly on and he was saying that the NYPD arrested 2 Iranians who were filming the #7 train in Queens. I searched all over the NY news for this and found nothing. It goes to prove that we are taking care of business even if it is not blasted all over the headlines. Thank god Bush is in office.

Nice and very effective ad. Everything in it is true, and I can understand why the Rats hate it. I hope there is a lot more of this in our arsenal to throw at them.

Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle is demanding that Republicans stop showing their first television ad of the 2004 presidential race, which he called "repulsive and outrageous."

Tommy boy is really fixated on that word "outrageous" isn't he? Must be a personal issue that maybe he has aquired while spending his years as a Democrat.

THEY COMMIT WORSE WAY OFF THE SCALE AND THEN

WHINE AND SCREAM AND REND THEIR CLOTHES WHEN SOMEONE SOUNDS 0.0000001% AS BAD AS THEY DO.

HYPORATS is a weak label for them. We don't have an English word sufficiently awful enough for their hypocrisy.

Well done. Obviously you are a student of history and ethics as you understand that anything evil said about Republicans is fair and acceptable, but when anything bad, even if resembling truth, is said about democratics it is unfair. Yes, whether it is the anti-Goldwater ad, or the if you vote republican you will destroy social security ad, the Dem's have never been shy about image ads. They just scream when they are effectively used against themselves.

If must be heck to be a leader of Democrats. AARP is now siding with the GOP, many in the South are voting GOP, Hispanics in record numbers are voting GOP. I can't wait until teachers unions and organized labor start abandoning the Democrats in large numbers. The Democratic party has so marginalized itself, that soon it will be replaced by something else.

I hate those RAT f**kers.... Especially Weasley Clark and Tiny Tom.

Nobody but the kool-aide drinkers take these idiots seriously anymore anyway.

George W. Bush has ripped the dem party a new one, exposing them for the traitors they are.

Thanks to W. the dems will be out of power for a long, long time.

".... and giving the voters a chance to form an opinion contrary to official Rat policy."

That's the problem. What is the Rat policy? Every time I hear the Dem candidates speaking all they do is bash President Bush, or sometimes each other. I no longer listen to them. President Bush is my man. He's doing a great job preventing another 9/11 and this is what's most important to me, as well as many, many Americans.

Kennedy called it an "attempt to stifle dissent."

Why the RNC is just proclaiming your viewpoint - wouldn't you like the public to know what you believe about the war against terrorism? Oh, I see, you think that the consequences of the public knowing what you believe would be a resounding defeat at the polls!

Stifle dissent, huh? Dissent to your heart's content. Proclaim your displeasure with the war on terror! Make it known far and wide!

We all want to defeat terrorism," [Daschle] said.

Yeah, but you guys define terrorism as voting Republican.

[Daschle said] "to chastise and to question the patriotism of those who are in opposition to some of the president's plans I think is wrong."

That's because you Democrats are unpatriotic.

Democrats hate America.

Here is an article about the Iranians:

SUBWAY MYSTERY
http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/11115.htm

November 18, 2003 -- Two Iranian diplomats who arrived in New York recently to work at their country's U.N. mission are being investigated by the FBI after a transit cop caught them videotaping the subway in Queens, The Post has learned.

The sharp-eyed officer spotted the suspicious pair entering the elevated station at Roosevelt Avenue and 52nd Street in Woodside at 1:30 a.m. Sunday and shooting tape in various directions as they waited for a Manhattan-bound No. 7 train.

The cop continued to watch the two men after they boarded the train and continued to shoot video.

As the train reached the Courthouse Square station, the officer approached the pair to question them.

The men indicated they did not speak English, so cops located a Farsi-speaking officer.

The men said they worked for Iran's U.N. mission, which afforded them diplomatic immunity, and said they had been coming back from a party.

Sources said the Iranians arrived in the United States, via Vienna, on Oct. 22 on three-month visas.

The cops confiscated their camera, which contained about 10 minutes of video - all shot in the subway. There was no recording of a party on the tape.

The FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force was notified and an FBI spokesman said yesterday, "We are investigating all aspects of this incident."

Iranian officials could not immediately be reached for comment.

Sources said there have been similar cases, but in most of them the suspects appeared to be "freelance operatives" or "terrorist wannabes" who turned the tapes over to anti-American operatives in foreign countries to score points.

But there have been several serious incidents involving Middle Eastern men - from nations aligned with international terrorist groups, including al Qaeda - caught videotaping landmarks and bridges.

"Sometimes they run away when they're approached and rip out the tape they shot to destroy it," one source said.

The latest case was not the first time employees at Iran's U.N. mission have been caught shooting video in suspicious circumstances.

In June 2002, two security employees at the mission were caught casing the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and entrances to tunnels leading into Manhattan.

They were expelled.

The Republicans better not pull the ad and give the democrats legitimacy.

I say respond to the democrats by trippling the airing of the ad.
