Jackson's explicit letters seized (child's name redacted for FR)

EXPLICIT letters and poems said to have been written by Michael Jackson to his alleged victim will form the centrepiece of the sex-abuse case against him.
Police seized at least a dozen letters during the raid on Jackson's Neverland ranch last week.
"The district attorney is convinced these letters will be crucial to the case against Jackson," a source close to the investigation said yesterday.
"The boy told investigators about letters and poems and their precise location inside Michael's home. These letters were among the evidence seized, along with videotapes.
"They are very explicit and intimate and show a degree of familiarity. Basically, they appear to be love letters from Michael to the boy."
The accuser, 12-year-old Los Angeles cancer victim ******, also told police Jackson's pet name for him was Rubba.
"The boy first told this to his therapist, then repeated it to police," the source said.
"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba. The boy said, 'Michael told me he was my rubba rubba friend."'
Although police handling the case in Santa Barbara, California, have been barred from revealing any details, it is understood the alleged abuse took place in February.
Jackson is said to have befriended ****** -- who, during a controversial British documentary screened earlier this year, admitted having shared a bed with the singer -- over a long period.
A source close to 45-year-old Jackson said: "For the past five or six years, he's taken kids from fractured homes and nurtured them as a father figure. As they get older, he teaches them fun things to do.
"Michael says he learned this from an adult when he was a teenager. No-one on his staff ever said anything. He's a tyrant. Everybody obeys the man."
Another Jackson source said: "The boy told of everything that went on and described things in Michael's closets, his bathroom, what was under his bed."
In her statements to police, ******'s mother, #####, has revealed that Jackson encouraged her son to call him "Daddy".
##### has claimed she, ****** and his two siblings were held virtual prisoners at Neverland, 100km north of Santa Barbara.
When she learned of her son's accusations of molestation -- which included claims that Jackson plied him with wine and sleeping pills -- she fled with her family in the dead of night.
A source close to district attorney Tom Sneddon, who will prosecute the case, said: "The DA is very confident with the evidence he has. This includes letters, videos and computer files. They believe they have enough to nail Jackson."
Jackson's legal team is said to be encouraging him to consider a plea bargain, possibly an insanity defence that would allow him to serve time in a state mental hospital instead of jail.
There was speculation yesterday that the singer raised his $3 million bail with the help of Miami-based Al Malnik, a lawyer for notorious gangster Meyer Lansky, who died in 1983.
Malnik reportedly began making large loans to Jackson when his career nosedived.
Malnik, 69, was cited by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1980 and 1992 as a person of unsuitable character.
The prosecution source said: "It just gets weirder and weirder. Michael supposedly has financial problems, but hiring someone with Mob connections is bizarre."
Prosecutors are said to be spreading a net around the world for other alleged victims. One boy of special interest is said to be in El Salvador, another in South Africa.
They are also said to be considering quizzing the son of an English premiership footballer.
Charges of aiding and abetting are likely to be filed against members of Jackson's entourage.
At the same time as the Neverland swoop, police raided two homes in Los Angeles.
One was reportedly the residence of Marc Schaffel, a gay video producer who filmed the rebuttal tape Jackson released just after Martin Bashir's British documentary aired.

I know Bill Clinton's reputation better than Kobe's. All men aren't the exactly the same. Many women have accused Clinton of predatory behavior. They are all credible. I haven't seen many women accusing Kobe yet.
You don't get to decide the trial.
No, but I can see what evidence the prosecution and defense put out at the time of the trial and make my decision accordingly.
You try to pretend they are not rapists so you don't have to look in the mirror and realize you publicly defended one.
No. I know there are rapists. Now, get this through your thick skull. I NEVER DEFENDED KOBE BRYANT.
Don't bother responding, because I know you have no possible way of understanding me. You have prejudged me as you do everyone else. You have decided I pretend there's no such thing as rapists. FALSE.
You have decided I think Kobe is innocent. WRONG.
But being wrong won't stop you from thinking that.
I do not wish to continue a battle of wits with an unarmed man. Good night.

I hear you and believe you on the parent issue. Another huge problem are the social service agencies. They pull unbelievable crap around here, and a bazillion other places, as well. Show up with LE in a restaurant and take a child away from parents who did nothing other than administer a mild spanking when the child wouldn't behave. Then turn around and put kids back into homes where BABIES were being prostituted out by their parents, and WORSE.

Jackson actions are the reasons most people are quick to condemn him. That documentary last year and then the baby dangling, and the way he fed the baby. It's just plain wierd. Not to mention, the whole Neverland Ranch.
It would be one thing if someone accused President Bush of child molestation. He doesn't come across as the type. He doesn't have a ranch like an amusement park. He's never dangled babies over a balcony. He's never been on television saying how wonderful it is to sleep with a child.
MJ comes off as a sick pedeophile.

I rewatched it on VH1 tonight as well. I think Jacko is just putting on an act at times. For instance, when he told Martin that his kids were presents from the mothers and that before he got them he had to walk around with baby dolls. He said those things and just looked at Martin waiting for a reaction.

The other night, her ex-husband was on Greta. I know nothing about his character or truthfulness but he was very much against MJ. He swore that over the years he had seen many, many checks paid out to children and their families.
He said 250K and up and it happened on a frequent basis. I have to say though that it was very obvious that he did not like the Jackson family.

""You got a bunch of racist rednecks out there who don't care about people." HUH? Where on earth did THAT come from and what's it got to do with anything. Sounds more like a little kid crying to his Mama.

Ah ha!
Exactly so!
What is known of this interviewer?
Could the whole thing be an insanity plea?
Bresheir was in Berlin at just the right time to see the baby balcony dangle.
I will not be surprized if it turns out that the whole thing was a charade.
To: dougherty; aristeides
I stand corrected.
Bashir is legit.
So, it is Jacko by himself pulling the charade.
The timeline is kind of cutesy.
Everything in the interview shows Jackson to be crazy and a liar.
I think it will be Geragoses exhibit A.
As in, a few years in posh private mental hospitals beats the hell out of decades in a state slammer.
I'm still putting the Elatab son and father and the mob and the Saudies in the google machine and see what pops up.

Its not an issue of predators. I believe during the pendancy of the case it is not unreasonable to keep the person who is not found guilty on the same publicity footing as the accuser. Only during the pendency of the case. AFTER a guilty finding OR the plea bargain, then the issue is different. The victin SHOULD remain confidential and the CONVICTED (or negotiated plea) person should be known.
I am thinking of divorce cases where accusations are a matter of course and as part of that matter of course exposed as false.

How about a global age of consent at 18? Sex with anyone under 18 is criminal period.

Well, I wouldn't consider Bush a hollywood guy so he wouldn't really fit into what I was saying. But say, Ben Affleck were accused of something like that? How many would be piling on? I'd bet a whole lot *just* because he's a lefty. Many just WANT to believe that all hollywood celebs are evil and perverted lefties. I'm honestly not trying to defend MJ because he very well may be guilty. I just have noticed the trend to pile on celebs when they get accused of any wrong doing. They don't get the benefit of the doubt like Rush did.
Seriously, look through the MJ threads and see how many people you see advocating prison rape if he goes to jail. Very likely the some of the same people you see on the homo-bash threads talking about how perverse they think the act is.

I agree. He also enjoys playing the victim...for Michael bad publicity is better than no publicity at all. He also has an excessive admiration of himself which explains his many faces.

My view isn't biased for or against him quite yet. Why do you have such a problem with people who want facts? Are you afraid facts will reveal your belief to be wrong? I'm not going to argue the Kobe case on this thread. It doesn't belong here and there is no way you are going to get me to argue it here. If it makes you feel better though, I believe OJ is guilty and Clinton is guilty and Scott petterson is guilty. I look at each case as *totally* different people and situations. You seem to *always* side with the accuser though no matter what the facts are. Sorry to burst your little "you always side with the perps" bubble.

Just as an interesting point. Apparently this started from the psychologist who was seeing the boy. When the boy told the phsychologist, the phychologist reported whatever it was the chid said to the police as required under CF law.
I bet the psychologist will be attacked for implanting memories or creating attacks. I only metion it because I was reviewing the case where a couple successfully sued a psychologist for malpractice for implanting false molestation memories in a daughter.
or
Rush is a far differnt situation than Jackson. Rush never denied he had a problem to himself, he just recently (for whatever the reasons) admitted it to the public. Rush's problem is something he inflicted on himself. (yes I know his family too but still, if there had been the possiblity of a trial, there would be no victim testifying in a Rush trial.)
MJ had an incident ten years ago and instead of dealing with the perception in a responsible manner, he had a show marriage and continued the pattern which got him into trouble. Seriously how much effort does it take to tell a 45 year old man it is not wise to "just sleep" with other people's little boys. How about just don't tell the nice british reporter that it is NORMAL(!) to just sleep with other people's little boys. I don't care how famous or important anyone is, there are absolute limits to human behavior.
(then again jackon may have had a GLSEN counselor)
