The dang URL says chat, and when we move it we type in "chat". It would be nice if the URL matched the text and what we typed matched the label, but until then I'll try to call it "General Interest" and you try to remember that "chat"="General Interest", fair deal?

I know that General Interest = Chat, but this has confused the heck out of more Freepers than anyone in charge seems to realize.

Until you fix the problem, (which would take about 20 minutes if you're slow at programming), you have no one to blame but yourselves for members not knowing how to get to the "Chat Forum".

Looking at your profile page, and the link thereon, is Black Rob somehow related to JimRob and JohnRob? Like maybe in their freezers?

Honestly this should be priority on the list of things to fix as the issue keeps coming up. No matter what forum you are in, you should be able to hit Post at the top right hand corner and you should be able to find "chat" clearly in the posting catagories options. If you fixed it then maybe these tabloid non-political posts would end up where they belong. "Chat" for tabloid, gossip, hollywood, non-political posts like the Jackson, Peterson, Kobe cases, etc... Personally I would like to see another forum just for Worldwide War on Terror, since this is an issue that we will not being getting away from soon, if ever.

Make the change from General Interest to Chat and stop the confusion!
