Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping
Self ^ | 11/22/2003 | Self

Posted on 11/22/2003 6:50:02 PM PST by EUPHORIC

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

I fall on the side of law-abiding Americans who want to be free to worship in peace without being persecuted by people full of hate, regardless of waht their religion is... why do you ask?

Sounds like the right thing to do. But I must tell you, I scrutinize everything. Why? - The devil is in the details.

I wish you well!

Be careful in that, because that will mark you as a "dirty smelly hippie commie socialist marxist pinko infiltrator with ingrown toenails and a drug addiction working as a multi-person team of leftt wing agitators", at least according to the hate-FReepmail I've been getting ;0)

Ingrown toenails?

Geez.

I've gotten my share of hate-mail around here too. Who cares. If some nit living in a bunker wants to scroll off some retarded, bran deprived screed at me, let em... :)

You are absolutely right on this one. I'm actually pretty surprised to see so many people who CLAIM to support the Constitution, so willing, because of their own religious biases, to trample on one of the primary tenants of that Constitution.

Freedom of Religion. To be honest, my take on that is ALL Religions should have a viable seat at the table. If we have to suffer the likes of the Muslim equivilent of Jimmy Swaggart crying and whining for Cash on TV or Radio, heck, think of the entertainment value alone. How about a Hindu Tammy Faye Baker (clown make-up and 5 inch fake lashes included)?

The point is, they have just as much right, in this country, to worship, pray, discuss, broadcast, and annoy others, as every other Religion, and that is exactly as it should be.

My favorite post on this was that one person claiming, that even though she has an on/off switch on her radio, she just didn't think it was appropriate for Muslims to discuss their Religion, outside of their own Churches.

I had to laugh at that one. I've been here long enough to know, if ANYONE ever suggested that EXACT same thing for Christians , the thread would go on for weeks, and the poor schmuck who suggested it would be flamed worse than Joan of Arc.

How gullible are you?

Not gullible enough to believe that islam is a "religion of peace".

You, however......

Islam is nothing in and of itself, left alone it does nothing.

Islam is whatever a person wants it to be.

Ninety percent of Muslims are peaceful people, the rest are radicals.

Now, post a viable link to those reports of Muslims dancing in the streets in Detroit.

Right. So what is 10% of 1 Billion, and where do they live?

Now, post a viable link to those reports of Muslims dancing in the streets in Detroit

You did read that I heard about Seattle Somaili terrorists dancing in the streets, told to cool it by other muslim groups, on the Michael Medved RADIO show....no implied url.

You call him.

"So what is 10% of 1 Billion

Public school graduate I see...no wonder.

"...and where do they live?"

Everywhere.

"You call him."

No, YOU call him. It's YOUR reponsibility to substantiate your claims.

Posting unsubstantiated claims is not what FR is all about, one of the primary functions of this site is to distinguish truth from lies. Truth being that which can be proven.

But you can't, and like everyone else that posts that lie, you heard it from someone, who knew someone, who spoke to someone, who saw it happen.

And that is called an urban legend.

So, we will leave it at you willing to believe in urban legends, and posting claims you can't substantiate, and consequently having zero credibility.

Yes, as a matter of fact, and I refuse to apologise for that fact. The nature of your comment paints you as a smart@$$ elitist. I simply wanted you to admit that you would have us ignore a hundred million wild eyed murdering muslim idiots.

"...and where do they live?"

Everywhere

Yes, including Seattle and Lewiston Maine. They also apparently are in your neighborhood.

But you can't, and like everyone else that posts that lie, you heard it from someone, who knew someone, who spoke to someone, who saw it happen

No, Mr. nazisympathizer, I heard it from someone who lives in Seattle and happens to have a national radio program.

So, we will leave it at you willing to believe in urban legends, and posting claims you can't substantiate, and consequently having zero credibility

The main reason I believe it is because I also heard reports of it happening in Lewiston Maine, not ten miles from here.

I could care less if you are in denial or if you find me credible. Your credibility is the one which is questionable.

As far as I'm concerned, you are a typical terrorist sympathizer (propagandist) and domestic enemy of the citizens of the US. The fact that you are attacking me here is proof enough that we are under assault by the islamofacists.

Islamic law is absolutely incompatible with the tenets of American tradition and the concepts of liberty and freedom.

If you want to call me a bigot...go ahead. Islam is far inferior to the American way and is a bogus and phoney "religion"

That's all I have to say. Goodbye.

"If my fellow Christians on FR are representative of the average Christian, then perhaps I should find a new religion - ine less hateful and violent and ignorant."

Nahhh I just think that there are some very hysterical, extremist, whack jobs on FR that would like to take the God Lords name and drag it through the mud with their own brand of idiotic hate. It's frightening I know, and it's seems to have gotten more prevelant around here lately. Maybe David Koresh and his band of nutbags are on the rise.

I think more than half of them are not the ignorant bigots they try to portray themselves as, but are really provocateurs. 9-11 for them becomes nothing more than an opportunity to bash President Bush on FreeRepublic and to spread their hate and ill-will.

By the way, seeing as to how you were completely unable to substantiate one single one of your claims regarding Muslims dancing in the streets of the Us after the attacks on 9/11, I decided to do it for you.

There you go.

Unfortunately, these Arabs are not in Detroit, they are in Dearborn Michigan.

One last thing...this picture was posted today, and these people are celebrating the capture of a known terrorist, and mass murderer by American troops.

I did, I told you it was on the Michael Medved radio show, no url link is involved. What do you want me to do. slash my wrists?

I also do not remember mentioning Detroit. If I did, may have erred. I did however mention Seattle.

I also mentioned Lewiston Maine. Here read this, "warlords" vying for the lofty position of "King of the welfare cheats." Tribalism in America.

LEWISTON Two groups seek role of community leader

By Lisa Chmelecki

Staff Writer

As his friend drove the last leg of the trip from Atlanta to Lewiston, Said Mohamed stared out of the window and planned his argument.

He decided that after he found his wife and children in their new apartment in Lewiston, he would hug them, tell them he missed them, then he would ask his wife if she were ready to move again, to a real city.

Although Mohamed had worried about his children in the ghettos of Atlanta, he couldn’t imagine living in a place where Somali immigrants were so new, so unsettled.

He knew it would take months — if not years — for Somalis to find their place in the Lewiston community.

And he knew that the process would not only involve tension between the immigrants and the natives, it also would pit Somalis against one another, as different groups vied for positions as leaders of the community.

Mohamed wasn’t sure he wanted to be involved in the process of getting established. But he was forced to stay after his wife told him she wasn’t packing up and moving again.

That was nearly a year ago.

A former chemistry professor who left Somalia in 1991, Mohamed is now at the center of the internal feud that he predicted upon his arrival.

A bridge

Two groups – one that has existed for more than a year and another recently formed by Mohamed and more than two dozen others – are privately and politely jockeying to be leaders of the community.

Members of each group, the Somali Community Services and the newly formed African Immigrants Association, say they want the same thing.

They want to serve as a bridge between African immigrants and the local, state and federal agencies that help them.

Both groups want to set up a multicultural center, both want to improve transportation, day-care and educational services for the Somalis and both want to appoint a board of directors that would be identified as leaders of the community.

Despite these similar goals, an effort to join forces has failed. And, as each group moves forward with its plans, accusations are flying.

“They only want to help certain people who believe in certain things,” Mohamed said, referring to the members of Somali Community Services as religious fanatics who only look out for people in their own families and clans.

Mohamed accused Somali Community...blah, blah, blah.

Should I ask them how they feel about Saddam?

"I did, I told you it was on the Michael Medved radio show."

It was a lie.

Do you understand that?

A lie.

I'm not sayimg Medved lied, I don't know that, but the incidenst NEVER happened.

It serves your twisted mind to believe that they did, but they did not.

The lie that Muslims danced in American streets on 9/11 in celebration of the attacks, has been debunked as many times as the lie that no Jews went to work at the Towers on 9/11.

The fact that you make the conscious choice to believe a lie tells me a whole lot about you.

All this other crap you're posting is just that, crap that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

Got a question for you....

If a bunch of Americans flew planes into a high-rise in a Muslim founded and dominated country killing thousands, and then Americans moved to that country ...and continued their call for "Jihad" against all Muslims, and then thad the gall to blare "Jesus Loves Me" 5 times a day on loudspeakers, and radio DJs read the 23rd Psalm 5 times a day on the radio....what do you think the locals there would do? Let's see if you can be honest and answer the question. I'm betting on nothing more than rhetoric, but we'll see.
