I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.
This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.
To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

It will be a cold day in hell if you think Americans are going to listen to ISLAMIC prayers on a loud speaker while walking on American soil, if that did happen that would be the day I would no longer be proud to be an American.

Well, I don't mind the bells. I hear them every sunday morning, and I live with it. I havn't heard a loudspeaker airing the muslim Call to Prayer yet, though. If I ever do, I suppose I'll adjust.

LOL! Be shure to right alots of leters. They'l all and up in the sirckyular phile.

Now you get my point! Christianity is under attach by secular humanism and you don't like it one bit. The solution, however, is not to turn on an even less popular faith, but to support the principles of freedom for all.
To: missyme
Well the way I see it the ACLU will allow a Muslim child to kneel down in prayer for Rammadan yet G-d forbid a christian child mentions Jesus! There attack on Jews and Chrstians by removing the Ten Commandments, is yet a bigger slap in the face, yes tell me how tolerant our country is to the majority. The Constitution forbids any law favoring one religion over another. To the extent that the law is not applied correctly it is wrong. The answer is not to suppress the religious rights of Muslims in this country but to apply the Constitution fairly to all.
The question that you raise in this post has nothing to do with Islam, but rather with interpretations by the ACLU their kind.

Sounds like as one who wants to repeal the 1st Amendment, you can't be too proud to be one already.

Well according to you America is just a big "Free for All" thats why we are in the worst condition as a nation we have ever been in, because of people that have your thought process.

Right on!!! It is amazing how people seem to forget 9/11. It is Islam that has stated this war not us.The president declared war on terrorists, not 800 million Muslims. In fact he has bent of backwards many times clearly stating this.
To: zygoat
That's right.
Why?
Because the idea here is to prove that our way of life is superior to theirs.
If we emulate their way of life by disallowing American Muslims the right to worship freely, how are we different than the Mullahs of Iran?
This is a war of ideologies.

I was not aware the terrorists were of different faiths. I was under the illusion they were all muslims.
DUH.

I never once claimed a "Free-for-all". I just happen to believe that people in this country are free to worship the God of their own choosing, and shouldn't be persecuted for it. Yup. That's what is killing this country. You got me.

You know there was an "Unpopular faith" that a man claiming to be of G-d named Jim Jones was practicing in the late 70's, we sat back and did nothing and hundreds of people drank cyanide and died, oh well they did it in the name of religious freedom, I guess another unpopular faith
Satanists who have animal sacrafices stealing people's pets in the name of there G-d is also okay with you.

And, no one here is advocating the breaking of laws, such as a Satanist would be doing if they stole someone's pet and killed it.
I have said repeatedly that we are free to worship as we please in this country, provided we adhere to our nations' laws...

I'd just like to remind you folks that there were Muslim soldiers who fought for the US in Operation Iraqi Freedom (and other wars). They defended your freedom to express your hatred of them. Way to show your appreciation.

I sent a message to the station manager, and here's what I got back this morning:
"Can't defend it. But in this country not selling them the time isn't an option either. Can you imagine the reaction if we refused to sell time to Jews?
Thanks for taking the time to write.

I am more disgusted than before !
So now we have to sell time to anybody who seems to think they're a religion? What if NAMBLA decided they were a religion? Would we have live, on air rapes of children?
I am aghast.

This is the point where they point out the few (you can count on one hand) "Muslims" who killed their fellow soldiers, or engaged in treason, and then use it as a valid reason for wanting to ban all mulsims from serving this country.
They will conveniently ignore all the non-muslims over the years who have done the same. Just watch.

I am aghastLast time I looked, raping children was a crime in this country. The "Freedom of Religion" aspect would not fly in teh face of that. Nice try, though.
