[history]
A business magazine's ranking of notable African-American leaders in Nashville has drawn fire from one of the city's African-American newspapers.
The front-page headline in The Tennessee Tribune last week read, ''Nashville Post disrespects, slanders city's African-American community.''
The blistering, 1,600-word critique that followed in the African-American weekly paper has drawn its own criticism for being mean-spirited and divisive.

Also, you can satisfy some people some of the time, but not all people all of the time. There's only one person you ca satisfy completely and that's yourself.
This begs the question, why is this black newspaper wanting a paper read by everyone to talk about black people? If they want a list suits their criteria and is free of 'negro turncoats' they should make up their own list.

''How can someone who is not a part of the community define influence in the community?'' This attitude explains why we have no successful integration and are far from a "Color-blind" society.

"... the article was written with the assistance of a 'Negro turncoat.' " Just what in the heck is a "negro turncoat"?

Perry refused to identify the person referred to but said, ''Someone (African-American) is trying to make the white community feel less about our professionals.'' She added, ''The Post used harsh language, and we are going to use harsh language.''Just not terribly brave language, apparently, if they don't even have balls enough to pin a name to their (purported) hush-hush, super-duper-spy-secret "Negro turncoat." :)
