Expectable stuff, part of the learning curve. Need a few more "old timers" like me there. Let me bring along a few of the old Viet Nam crew. I will wager serious money that I could find a thousand good men, fully qualified, and ready to go. Have to support their families, of course. Then it would be "No sweat, GI"!!!

Great Idea!

The kids we sent could really benefit from this help.

Would be an opportunity to do good work.

Sure would need this to be tightly tied into the chain of command, with detachments from squad level up as needed, but at the same time some separation so this organization could be effective. Us old guys would have trouble with a twenty five year old boss who was an idiot, and we would not be careerists or much interested in promotions. We would all be older than almost anyone in the Corps or Army.

I wish the military did have the good sense to call on experience.
