The Democreeps in the Senate are probably not going to pass this. The Republicans, led by GWB, have sunk so low, at least on this bill, that we have to count on the dems to save us.
Clearly something wrong with this picture.

You know that the world has turned upside down when conservatives are routing for a Dem victory and the AARP is shilling for Republicans.

Since not one in a hundred here on FR has read the bill and knows many of the details (including me) I will reserve judgement for now. One thing though, if the Democrats were all against it there has to be some redeeming qualities to it. We'll see...

Well, the bill isn't entirely bad (just mostly bad). Still, it's better than what the 'Rats are proposing, and it takes the issue off of the table in the 2004 elections, whatever the outcome.
