At a global security conference held today in Paris, an American company announced a new syringe-injectable microchip implant for humans, designed to be used as a fraud-proof payment method for cash and credit-card transactions.
The chip implant is being presented as an advance over credit cards and smart cards, which, absent biometrics and appropriate safeguard technologies, are subject to theft, resulting in identity fraud.
Identity fraud costs the banking and financial industry some $48 billion a year, and consumers $5 billion, according to 2002 Federal Trade Commission estimates.

Laugh if you will...it might be a good stock for a small investor right now. ADSX closed at 0.41 today. Even if it goes to $1.00, you'll have made a little profit (yeah, I know...very little, but still)Another pink-sheet special.

So all I need to do is kill the person and chop their hand off and I have an unlimited spending spree. Dumb.

Cashless means easy to tax.

Agreed- I don't like it either. Call me old fashioned, but dealing with the "hassle" of taking 5 seconds to swipe my bank card is high-tech enough for me. Thinking out loud now: if this implant does end up being the form that the mark takes, one could theoretically be marked without their knowledge... being syringe-injectable, it might easily be snuck into vaccinations, etc. God willing, I'll be Home before that whole mess gets going.

Yeah... the last one wasn't too long ago this time - this usually pops up every 3 months or so. Somebody must need a little boost to unload some stock...

Cashless means easy to tax.In what context and for whom?
Income (tax), sales (tax), property (tax); 'easy' for vendor, customer or gov't?

deep muscle implants of very tiny chips might not be too easy to "dig out"
just use a long needle to implant...also GPS considerations more than likely...
imo

"The future is fingerprint readers and retinal sanners! "
... and what do you do when someone finds a way to beat that system ?
( made a copy of my thumb a few years ago with liquid latex - had a few surprised salespeople when it beat their cheap readers at COMDEX in Vegas)
BTW - at these shows I saw MANY supposedly bright people filling in their personal information at a terminal for a demonstration - and then gladly giving the Chinese sellers copies of their fingers. Do you doubt that all of this went into a China government database for future reference if / when these people become captains of industry in the future ?

Your assertion does not
TOUCH
the future probabilities of the chip.
All the more so if the puppet masters, are scripting it's development and implementation, deployment--as one former insider asserts--a scientist who considers his life fully at risk but insists on traveling around disclosing the puppet master's plans--who himself became convinced by a friend who showed him the Bible verses that described so well what he was working on--this decades ago . . .

Unless you're one to excessively worry and fret over such things.
