Well put. Please do share your design link with Laura. I think you will be surprised. When you do "the right thing for the right reasons" you're always rewarded.
I used to do a similar thing with W's wardrobe...picking out shirts and ties for him. Heck, we need the soccer mom vote, and I think I have a handle on when he looks his GQ best (I know he would find it shallow of me, but I look upon it as another arm of marketing, that's all. I mean, if he were a blob, I could see saying, who cares, but this guy takes good care of himself and can wear things well, you know?).
Anyway......You Go Girl! You're Talented!

I agree, the Queen looked like she was genuinely enjoying herself and her guests. So did Prince Phillip. I thought Laura looked especially radiant on this trip.

OOOH, Minnesooooota is a good and BEAUTIFUL place too! My husb's relatives are there and so is one set of grandparents. My one sister and her husb. are from Canada ("ay"!) so we get a kick out of teasing about accents.
Laura does look wonderful but I just don't think she's the type of person to have any "work" done. I think she'd consider it a waste of time and money and I don't think George would let her do anything to alter her natural beauty. Besides, she does have a few distinguished lines, esp. around her eyes when she smiles!
I think you're right about her hair--she's said it's a treat to have her hair and make-up done for her. I think some of her beauty comes from within, from being at peace with herself, in love with her husband, loved by her husband, and at peace with her God.

Whoever designed Laura's suits for this trip deserves a raise. Even the brown one yesterday that everyone complained about is a minor miracle since it was made out of a traditional English tweed (hard stuff to work with). It was done to compliment their hosts and I'm sure the British noticed.
The blue one and this one today are fabulous!

LOL, That's why I posted it.
personally I don't want a nice president, I want an honest, dignified and honorable President who can be meaner than a junk yard dog towards our enemies

GREAT PHOTOS!!
It's obvious that the President and Tony Blair share a VERY special friendship: How fortunate for our country; how fortunate for the world!!
It's also obvious that the President and his First Lady dearly love each other: How fortunate for them; how fortunate for us!!
While perusing the internet this evening, I found a couple of excellent articles:
JOHN PODHORETZ
Excerpt:
"Why do they hate you, Mr. President?" a British journalist asked yesterday during a press conference. "Why do they hate you in such numbers?"
After listening to Bush's speech and considering the views expressed by the protestors and others, I have one possible answer: They hate him because he calls their values into question.
The Bush-haters are moralistic poseurs. The man they hate is a moral actor. They condemn barbarity. He does something about it. They call him a monster, a villain, a Hitler. In response, he celebrates the fact that they live in societies that permit free speech.
He is a giant.
They are dwarves.

I think Laura Bush is beautiful, she has a radiance about her that is pure woman and an air of confidence that is not over bearing nor weak, I would call it steady. I find her very attractive

Thanks for the good links; hope you feel better soon! I've had the flu--the Influenza A flu-- all week and it really sucks so I hope you're not getting that. I'd give you my "nurse" lecture about Vitamin C and all that but I'm sure you know it! TAKE CARE!
