I LOVED all the pecan trees when I lived in NC! Pecans are soooo expensive in NJ. I use to rake up pecans every season when I was in NC and mail bags to my friends.

The funniest time with the pecans was when we had chickens. They would follow me around while I stepped on the nuts to crack them and gobble them up so fast!

You know lonestar, I bet you can make some nice pocket change putting up bags of pecans for auction at eBay.

I got mine from friends. They had 250 lbs. at last count. They gave them away. I have other friends that I'm going to pass that along to. She sells on eBay and he has been selling pecans. I bet they never thought about combining.

We have a lot of pecan trees on our courthouse square and anybody can pick them up and I've seen several people with bags full. They are loaded everywhere. People can't give them away.
